In what will be an emotional weekend, Saturday will see a long-awaited reunion between AFC Bournemouth fans and Eddie Howe – an eternal legend at Dean Court. As well as our Special One, we’ll also be having a rendezvous with Jason Tindall, the AFC Bournemouth coaching staff, as well as former players such as Matt Ritchie and Callum Wilson – all of whom were adored, loved and respected.
Plus, we’ll set our eyes on Ryan Fraser, someone who is less liked amongst the Boscombe fanbase down South… but why? What has he done wrong? Are Bournemouth supporters over-reacting? Can will he ever be forgiven?

Great video. I think he was (and still) is a very naive kid. It seemed like Eddie had to hold his hand and do everything for him when he joined the club (I mean almost anyone who aspires to be a professional athlete knows from an early age knows you don't build a career eating ice cream and pizza). I feel that it was most likely his agent in his ear feeding him ideals & swaying his decisions whilst letting Ryan (who clearly doesn't hold the ability to articulate himself properly) then convey that to the media.
Still at 25 years old, you'd hope that he'd be smart enough to have a little respect for the club that took a chance on him and poured so much time and effort into his development.
Still think he deserves the stick he inevitably going to get on Saturday.
Would absolutely love to see us get a result on the weekend.

City fan here, I really enjoyed this insight into how Ryan Fraser left a nasty taste in some fan’s mouths. At all levels of the game we give and expect back 100%. Sometimes footballers miss to understand the deep emotional connection between fan, footballers and clubs. Emotional intelligence is one of the hardest qualities for a human to acquire. Cracking piece mate and up the cherries 🍒
He hasn't done anything at Newcastle, you can have him back.

As a Newcastle fan I can only feel your pain when one of your players doesn't pull his weight or let's down your club/community. The the awful reality that even though our emotion and regional allegiances guide our passion the same can't be said for the mercenaries that represent our team, and worse still the leeches that are football representatives and agents all out for their own personal gain. I would wish your team well for the season but I'm sure you'd understand that would be an insincere platitude. But I do wish you and your mates peace and the ability to let go of the hate as that is far too self destructive a price worth paying. Really enjoyed the sincerity of your piece. Gan canny
