What is this guy talking about? You don;'t think Maddison has this and that, no. 10s dissappearing from teh game? Is this guy fcking high or what? The boy has 53 goal and assist contributions in three seasons. He had 20 last season, 19 this season. he had a 22 goal contributions iwth Norwich before he joined Leicester. The guy's in the top 3 CAMs with the last 3 seasons. James Maddison is worth 100 million for what he does but because Leicester are down in the Championship now, he's been devalued severely.
Maddison over Mount every day of the week.. Mount is a bang average player who shouldn't have been anywhere the England team. It's like the elites pick their players in this game and Maddison is not a member of the club. What did Mount do last season that would benefit MU? Maddison scored 10 goals and got 9 assists in a sht Leicester team.

James Maddison is the best CAM in the PL with the last three seasons playing in a lesser team with lesser quality of players surrounding him. 19 goal contributions just this season past. 20 the season before. 14 the season before that.. he got 22 goal contributions for Norwich which is why Leicester bought him. Mount is a better player from a tactical perspective, However in terms of ability, he cant lace Maddison's boots.
Maddison is the most important target for Spurs this summer. As much as they need an entire new defence (and they really do!), they need a creative midfielder more.

Suggesting maddison to spurs is being naive (or maybe just not clued up) about the spurs squad. You can't just plonk a player in a team and expect it to work. Football doesn't work like that. The system takes precedence over personnel.
We all know that the front 3 is set as Kane, kulusevski and Son. This means spurs can only play with 2 midfielders. Maddison can't play in that 2. Theres no attacking midfield slot for him to be put into. The solution would be to have 3 in midfield… but spurs can't do that as they'd have to go 4 at the back. They don't have any fullbacks. We saw last season when they tried wing backs in a back 4 and they got smashed by Saudi Fc. Spurs have about 6 wingbacks so they're pretty much stuck with playing with 3 cbs and 2 wing backs.
I don't know how postecoglou can fix this dilemma as he isn't going to be handed more money to buy a lb and rb that can play in a back 4, when they've already pissed a kings ransom on defensively inept wing backs like royale, porro, Spence. Udogie will join this summer who is also a left wing back having played for udinese in a Conte esque 5 at the back.
Aaand even if all that got resolved… You don't necessarily need a number 10. Kane fulfills a dual role, he's always dropping back into a cam role so spunking the budget on maddison would make absolutely no sense at all

I am surprised Man Utd have not gone in for him in all honesty, even though he plays in a different position to Mount he does give you a different option and we have seen with City's bench who has some amazing players in their squad.
