If Ward Prowse looks to Southampton like he is going to leave them Flynn Downes would be a very good bit of business for them and we might live to regret the deal. Ward Prowse is amazing at free kicks but for me does not shine in other respects.

I wouldn't want to see Downes go without being given a proper try out… but if the club do let him go, couldn't they insert a buy back/first option clause on him if they do and he really came on at Southampton.
I’ve only see Amrabat play a few times but from what I’ve read would be a good signing.
If Rice goes to City, then money and Kyle Walker would be good.
It would mean a season then of not worrying about inconsistency with RB.
Amrabat and Downes, with Gallagher and Paqueta – should be decent enough choices for middle of the park, probably a loan player as well for cover – show Soucek the door.
Barnes and Johnson, would then round out the signings and give us some pace going forward.

Keep Flynn build for the future
If Rice is after a Premier League and/or a Champions League winners medal then Man. City is a no brainer, otherwise he might as well stay put.
I think we should keep Flynn Downes, he hasn't been given a chance at all since he's been at the club
