Chelsea want to get rid of him because he has no respect for the club.Chelsea offered him a contract of £200k and he turned it down now he wants to go to United for £200k per week and thats before Mount trying to force a move once again showing no respect for the club that supported him to where he is now.

I'm an Arsenal fan. Even as much as I enjoy seeing UTD getting there pants pulled down. They shouldn't of offered a penny over 40 mil for Mount, yet alone 55 mil. I hope Chelsea get what they deserve for being greedy and he goes on a free next year.

Clubs are incentivised to sell academy players because they are 100% profit on the balance sheet which is crucial with FFP.

Man United offered a very decent 3rd offer for Mount. It's baffling as to why Chelsea even rejected it tbh for a player who desperately wants out & only wants a move to United who has made it clear many times he has zero intentions of signing a new contract yet Chelsea are still demanding 65m. I think a compromise will be reached between the clubs of a guaranteed 55m upfront. It's clear Ten Hag wants Mount & has done for a long time but also we cannot be bullied by Chelsea into overpaying. That's where we've gone wrong all these years vastly overpaying for players.
