  1. With recent reports saying that Onana's agent is in Manchester it does look like Onana will mostly likely be United's new number 1 & I have to say I'm more than happy with that. Onana will cost around 45m which is around 15-20m less then what Costa would cost which is another reason why I can see us signing Onana & the fact Ten Hag knows him very well. Signing Onana will massively transform our team I mean I've never seen a more confident goalkeeper. This lad is the real deal

  2. All these forward kicks aren't going to help Utd unless they land on the feet of the attackers as I've never seen any one of the Utd forwards (Rashford/Antony/Sancho) break their necks to win the first header. They are all a bunch of scared cats.

  3. One thing i have noticed in these compilations is that once he saves , he is ready for the next attack immediately. He would be a beautiful fit for Manchester United

  4. I worry he doesn't like to catch the ball, he tends to punch it way too often. But he is a far better GK than De Gea & will make us way better

  5. He's good…his positioning is really good too ..Good Timing…But I'm not really convinced about his shot stopping and cross Claiming..and That's Really something we have been Criticizing De Gea for … especially the Cross claiming..

  6. You guys saying that you are worried about his shot stopping ability . I wanna ask , how many shots does Ederson stop?! Not much . And also one thing that I noticed about Onana is that his positioning is so good that he barely even needs to dive to save to a shot . When a shot is played even in the top corner for some reason he is already there waiting for the ball and just catches the ball instead of diving .

  7. Hmmm good keeper but I wasn't too impressed in the Champions League final, making risky passes, seems to take risks in general, usually goes long which is fine for Inter who play 2 up top (one being a big striker). Also, unless De Gea signs as backup (which he won't) won't we lose him for a month for AFCON? Not ideal losing your 1st choice keeper for a month especially when you don't have a decent back up.

  8. Very poor goal keeping worse than DD,the way he releases weak shots is alarming for him in the premier league.he will absolutely be exposed

  9. The 2 key point I want to make about Onana is about the position at which his punching or pushing of the ball goes. Onana needs to work on his punching positions. He mostly punches or pushes the ball to a dangerous zone. Without an active defender Onana will concede more goals from rebounds than from open play. Take out time to monitor where he puts the ball after he saves a shot.. His saves mostly drop the ball back in the box 18 instead of corner kicks. He needs to work on that. Secondly, how good is he with PK?

Personally I will go for Diogo Costa of Porto. Him and Onana are the two best available as at now. But Costa will help United more than Onana. My own opinion

  10. Palms nearly everything and most of it back into the danger zone. I hope we're not throwing money at this guy purely because of his feet, because first and foremost he's a goalkeeper.

  11. people will cry for De Gea coz he's still better in saving which us more important he alway's save's us despite not being very good in distribution he's saving reflexes are like no other & we will miss him onana doesn't save like him you can see here

  12. His not good, he kicks long just like de gea, also the shots he saves don’t stick, he pushes it back in to the danger area, something de gea never does.

  13. To me i don't think he is better than de gea when it comes to shot stopping…but he is better off when it comes to short passes and long passes…so MUN have to decide…because you want a goalkeeper who is good

  14. Theres something about the balls players use these days..they look smaller (probably to make dribbling and skills easier) and they wobble about too much making it difficult for keepers to make saves or clearances
