I do agree with Danny. I think Newcastle are looking at better players than Maddison and he fits Spurs squad, as its a lot weaker than the Newcastle squad. Both teams are on different trajectories. Spurs always fight for 7th to 4th and Newcastle will be challenging for the title in the very near future.
Arsenal should of gotten him over havertz hes been great with leicester since moving from Norwich can assist and get goals from midfield whilst playing in a rubbish team last year

Eddie Howe would expect high work rate on and off the ball. Could be a useful player in an expanded Newcastle squad but he'd be competing for a starting position with players who work their socks off

Tonali, Guimaraes, Maddison… makes for a wonderful midfield significantly improved on newcastles midfield last season. Trust in Eddie Howe. Newcastle would welcome it all.
