Buffon/Neuer is closer than you think. Both won the World Cup, both dominated domestically, both won individual awards, neuer won champions league twice, Buffon did not. Neuer changed goal keeping in a way with keeping the high line and playing that sweeper role. Both was very dominant in the air, Buffon I would say had better shot stopping but Neuer was also elite at this. Buffon is an icon don’t get me wrong but this is a close choice tbh.. For the rest, I would say he got it spot on. Think it’s a little harsh on Xavi, providing he was the best midfielder in the world at a certain point and iniesta is a different type of player although if I did get asked between the two, I would still of gone for iniesta although I think Xavi played more of an important role for Barcelona at the time.

And iniesta was always further up sometimes even playing opposite of Messi.iniesta couldn’t dictate tempo like Xavi could . Didn’t have the passing range. Probably only more agile . Iniesta is a baller but he gets called better than Xavi for scoring in he winner in 2010
