  1. Everyone moaning bout fsg , when we bought world cup winner, before transfer was open ❤❤ nice think thuram price go up after international,

  2. Love TAW but how do you lads keep talking about transfers that are all based on rumours every day. Nothing new to report. Same old same old. My head would explode.

  3. Is this the list?

    1. Gabri Veiga, Roméo Lavia and Alex Scott are options not affected by homegrown status.

    2. Kephren Thuram, Manu Kone, Ryan Gravenberch and Dominik Szoboszlai are non homegrowns.

    3. Jurien Timber, Benjamin Pavard and Micky van de Ven are non homegrowns

  4. LFC non homegrown Players Over 21 are 2 Keepers, 5 Defenders, 3 Midfielders and 5 Attackers. 15 with max of 17. LFC Homegrowns 1 Keeper, 3 Defenders, 2 Midfielders. 0 Attackers. A minimum of 8 required for a 25 man squad of over 21's. LFC can only register 21 out of a possible 25. Under 21's born after January 2002 any number can play. Or am I wrong?

  5. What if Klopp planned to do something mental like buy Collwill and play him where Virgil is while moving Virgil to the 6? Must be me vape…cos that's beginning to sound interesting

  6. Just one summer window I'd love to see FSG role the fuckin dice! Spend £200-250 million to close the gap. Gvardiol is a Liverpool fan an we're gonna let h8m go to man city who already have a phenomenal defence ffs just spend some of the fuckin record turnover we the fans are creating you cheeky cunts 🤬

  7. I'm not convinced FSG will provide the budget now required, we'll always be short. I even reckon if FSG do the bare minimum, they will then feel as if they can have some more recruitment holidays for seasons ahead.

  8. I can see what Klopp's sees in Thuram. Like Nunez is overrated, raw, lacks composure and squaders. If bought will probably, half way through the season, suffer the same fate as Nunez and keep him company on the bench.

  9. Neil I appreciate you’re infectious optimism, but honest to god. On what planet will these owners, at this point in time, let us sign 6 players even with saving money.

Years gone by we’ve not spent a doubloon and still they refuse klopp in desperate times.

    Everyone needs to wake up.

Two years they told us we’re waiting for Bellingham, his mind was made up in May last year.

They’re taking the fans for a ride.

  10. I am prepared to be burnt again. But this conversation is like watching 6th Sense over and over again hoping for a different result.

  11. Liverpool allowed the team to age over a 3-4 year period. The decline is as a result of this and nothing to do with pre season not being what it should be.

  12. I'm not an FSG out bandit but I will say the club have left the manager down since we've won The Premiership, they never left it kick on with refreshing the squad and now look at this summer we need to bed in plenty of signings with the issue of experience going back out the door also, it's a real knife edge a club looking to challenge for the title shouldn't be operating transfer window wise. Very poor IMO.

  13. We did trust Harv with most of the minutes in the first 2/3 of the season. And how did that part of the season go? Certainly wasn’t all his fault, Hendo and Fab pretty consistently atrocious during that period too, but his poor performances can’t have helped. Don’t see what he brings and with his obvious physical failings I’m not sure we can carry someone like him without a massive overhaul of the team. Look at Foden at City, miles ahead of Eliott as a player and can barely get a sub appearance because he doesn’t fit… and he’s a few inches taller and a hell of a lot quicker, oh and he can regularly score from wide midfield areas and beats his man for fun. I don’t see how Eliott’s pros will ever outweigh the cons – same for Carvalho. No problem though since both were brought in on cheap fees, both can be turned over to fund better signings. Good business providing we don’t hold onto them indefinitely waiting for a break out that isn’t coming

  14. This emphasis on pre season is a bit worrying. The impression I get is that if pre season is not perfect then the next season is just written off. Last season was a bit of a one off because of early season start due to world cup but I'm getting a bit tired of ready made excuses. During a season you are going to have various challenges. We seemed last season to give up too early.

  15. Considering we won 2 trophies and were on the brink of winning 4 and the investment last year for transfers was under 80m (net spend of 5m). Factoring in all the available income from competitions in 2022 compared to 2023's earnings and the financial impact of dropping out of the top 4 I really struggle to see there being much business done this summer. The owners dont invest and the club is ran self-sufficently, but when the competition money isnt there and we arent selling players, I fail to see without external investment, the needed money being invested into the squad this summer. You can say we have "bellingham money" saved but frankly I'm not confident in that. I'd be so happy to be wrong, but I dont see us spending another 60m this window without outgoings or external investment.

  16. Looking at the summer investment in our squad over the years is honestly depressing. We have only signed 6 players in a window once, his first summer in 16/17, so I dont hold any hope in that being repeated. And for a club that is prized for doing great work on transfers, 3 of our last 4 summer transfer windows have been disappointing, underwhelming and frankly not good enough.

    16/17 – 6 signings 70m
    17/18 – 4 signings 80m
    18/19 – 4 signings 160m
    19/20 – 3 signings 1.5m
    20/21 – 3 signings 70m
    21/22 – 1 signing 36m
    22/23 – 3 signings 75m

Average summer spend of just under 50m. The kind of window everyone wants is like 18/19 when we spent a lot and brought in 1st team quality players, not squad players. Allisson, Fabinho, Keita and Shaqiri but the only reason that happened was because we sold Coutinho in the January prior. The only way I see us spending the money that is required to really improve our first team is to either sell Salah or Allisson, external investment or new owners.

If the extra "Bellingham money" really exists, there's no excuse not using it to sign extremely standout players like Gvardiol, Barrella, Mount or Colwill all who will cost a premium. Or if the claims of "it was either signing only Bellingham or several players" means we ONLY have 100m to play with, then we have already spent 1/3 of it on MacAllister and are likely only able to sign 1 or 2 more players of the ones we've been linked to.

  17. I wish Liverpool could actually sign Levi Colwill, even if it required Fabinho going in the other direction without any money involved either side. Fabinho is a player who will just be losing value, while Colwill becomes worth more and more every day. Van de Ven is probably a good option too.

  18. has
    Gomez LEFT
please take Ox , elliot , thiago.
    Konate ..
    These Are SO overated

They where Shocking last Year … Did u forget .

The Anfield wrap needs to Stop Taking FSG tribes like joe anderson ( most corrupt gangsters youll find .
    * See there extension for details

  19. How are you guys not super upset about not spending enough??? We NEED reinforcements asap in that midfield. You guys are too soft on FSG, I wonder why.

  20. we ain't getting colwill… dunno why the fanbase go on about it.

if chelsea are turning down 40 mil for him what chance do we have.. they will ask for silly money in which our owners won't spend

  21. And so our midfield: MacAllister, Henderson, Elliott, Jones, Thiago (almost as injury prone as Naby) and Alexander-Arnold (?) plus possibly Thuram from Nice and Kone from B. Monchengladbach? How many midfielders do we need? Also, need a RB to replace our new midfield wizard, Trent.
