Nottingham Forest #nffc seem to have set a price for Brennan Johnson! The Welsh International has garnish interest from rival #premierleague clubs as the transfer window has now officially opened. We spoke yesterday of Brentfords rejected £30 Million bid, it now seems Forest are not open to discuss a transfer for Johnson unless someone enters a bid of at least £50 Million! #everton have also shown interest in the Welsh wizard, but with their own FFP issues to resolve can they really afford a £50m plus transfer fee this summer? Forest shouldn't be selling Johnno at any price this season. He in invaluable to us, he is a homegrown player and is young. We have no need to sell him.
I'd give him until atleast the end of this coming season before we even think about selling him; and that is IF the player himself wants to go.

We were better and got the results at the end of the season , without Johnson starting. So I would take £30m upwards.

Newcastle paid £45m for Anthony Gordon who is older than Brennan with 0 goal involvements but Brentford think they can snag Brennan for £30m 😂 GTFOH!
Harry Maguire, a bang average slow centre back cost £80m, so I wouldn’t even consider selling Brennan unless it’s a monstrous offer with future incentives and a sell on clause. If Brennan played for England, he’d be £90-100m. (He’s a Nottingham lad who elected to play for Wales)
I've passed puberty now @45… Wearing football shirts is a bit Chav/Shameless. They're cheaply made in some Malasian back water by kids. My Labatt's shirts all cracked, same with Pinnacle and Victor Chandler. If I ever buy another Forest shirt, it'll be to stick in a frame. I don't really care what the new shirts look like as I'll probably never buy one.

I'd like to think we could push to 10th-12th next season. Without so many injuries and a few quality transfers i think that would be realistic and a good second season.
Exactly who would you buy with that age/potential/pace to replace, throw into the mix he’s one of own…? Shouldn’t even be up for debate, if we are serious about climbing up the table.
We need to strengthen our team to stay in PL. Selling Johnson is deffo a backward step. The trouble is when bigger teams start sniffing , we always lose our good players in the end. Sadly I can see him been sold for 50mill & we then need to replace him. The replacement won’t be as good. Up his wages for half a chance for him to stay.
100% we shouldn't even be thinking of selling Johnson let's get our team settled in the league not sell one of best players even if we get 60/70 million for him.
