  1. It’s as easy as playing your best 11 with a really good depth. Berhalter believes that he knows best when the reality is that he sucks as a coach who cannot adapt. Look at how well they played against Mexico and Canada in the last two games. That’s using your best.

  2. 1:41 Why is this guy saying that the USA squad was better than the Netherlands at the WC? That's simply not true. A team with Dumfries, Gakpo, De Jong, Ake, Depay, and van Dijk? They took Argentina to penalties. Ridiculous analysis.

  3. That’s all fine & good & all but the fact is we don’t see ANY OF these ideas & adjustments if Gregg was still coaching this team… that should be very alarming. Means this team has even more potential that remains untapped because of manager decisions. You can’t dispute this now. So how in your right mind could you think Gregg is the right man for the job? Not to mention I think Gregg will change the vibe & confidence overall of this team by returning & it won’t be for the better unfortunately. This team played hungry, this team played alive & rejuvenated, this team played confident. Also we had a dangerous central attack with a player Gregg doesn’t like with an idea Gregg has never tried so once again why is Gregg the right man for this job?

  4. A funny analogy someone else made was USSF is an abused wife going back to the deadbeat drunk Berhalter and BJ is the dad that stepped up up not the step dad.

  5. Till this day I wonder if berhalter had a clause in his contract where he had to play a certain percentage of MLS players during the world cup, it doesn't make sense to have a player like Gio or Scally on the bench but you played Morris and Moore?

  6. The players liked the locker room, all for one one for all, mentality or culture that GGG brought in. He also pretty much cleared out all players from the old regime and replenished with fresh faces/talent. However, if you go back and remember during the qualifying that players called out GGG's in-game decision making and tactics, CP10 particularly I remember saying "we need different ideas" or something similar. I don't agree with bringing him back; especially after seeing the team play so free and loose. Player selections, rigidity of tactics, poor bench/sub management, goof-ball sideline antics – USSF let us down once again. Its a head scratcher and I hope he is on a very short leash. Both Anthony and BJ made it look so simple – pick the best available players, play them at their optimal positions, and adapt as needed on the fly. GGG had 4+ years as USMNT manager to learn, grow, adapt and only gave us more of the same at the WC with bringing the wrong players, not playing the best starting 11, poor sub/bench management, and inability to adapt tactics. I don't know how based on that we bring the guy back.

  7. forget all the BS drama, if you can. I wouldn't, but still…if we can even get beyond that. So we resigned the coach that got so classically outmanuevered, outstrategized and outcoached by the Dutch coach???? This is why we will never progress. We pick these utter trash coaches, and we deserve everything we plant. Awful. They couldn't literally have hired a worse choice.

  8. Yeah the process was exhausting, so was watching gregg tinker with the lineup for 5 years never building any team cohesion and then watching his team struggle to create any chances on the biggest stage last year. It’s going to be even more exhausting watching it all over again for the next 3 years. Smh USSF

  9. I'm glad they were discussing Berhalter's qualifications for the job instead of trying to crucify him for a mistake he made decades ago. This wasn't like the Mason Greenwood controversy.

  10. Hiring GGG is such a lack of ambition, and just settling. Assumingely he did his best in this past WC…..why would we expect him to be able to take us anywhere higher? I just think it was a lazy hire….and taking 6 months? What a waste., and such a disappointment. But, with USSoccer, not surprising either. WE didn't hear anything from the "on the fence" players…Scally, Pepe, etc…did we.

  11. Honestly it’s not anger anymore, it’s just depression when I found out he was back. The only things I’m hoping for: be tactically better. Interplay from the middle, especially with Gio, and less crossing. Don’t play a static 4-3-3. Pick your best 11, and best 26. He picked his favorites from the mls at the World Cup and it backfired because they weren’t good enough. That’s all I want as a USA fan.

  12. I'm hoping Kate will ask tt if he was interviewed by the ussf for the hc job but I Gregg never truly left his friends couldn't allow him to be unemployed

  13. I agree 100% with what Davies said….. I get that Greg helped the team qualify to the WC and yes I get that we were the only team in CONCACAF that made it passed the group stage but we qualified in 3rd place, not even 2nd Mexico has been weak for quite some time. We have this pool of amazing players Greg is not the answer dude has no tactics Netherlands proved it big time, These roster mistakes he made for the WC were pretty ridiculous. Should have gotten a coach from Europe that has the silverware to back it up. We need an upgrade a better leader someone with tactics

  14. Berhalter needs to resign!! He doesn’t understand the storm that is about to come!! Time for the media and fans to pressurize the USSF!! What a bunch of complete idiots!!

  15. Cbs please get new American analysts. These guys are hard to watch. Stiff as a board all of them and cant say anything courageous or authentic against ussf or berhalter. Pleasw fire davies dempsey and edu. Unwatchable.

  16. Gregg is far from the best American coach. Guy couldn't even dominate in MLS. He had a 40% win percentage domestically.
