  1. He is spectacular player as you could see when US played England in the World Cup when he was destroying Jude and other England midfielders but 40 million is way too much😊

  2. I’m scared we’re gonna sign Mac Alister and another kid/loanee that will never play and we get rid of in 3 years. I hate how we spend. I’m poor in real life and now I have to watch my billion dollar club be poor as well. Shite

  3. We have Ali Mac and we can get Thuram, we can take some time with third and please forget about Valverde. His release clause is like a billion Euros. There is so much bs out there. Real fans are just teasing us by putting these stupid rumours. Why would any of that midfield want to leave Madrid.

  4. For Gawd's sake, we have a perfect opportunity to get Gvardiol by throwing Carvalho into the deal. Why the hell not try to push this through? Is Carvalho a midfield maestro in the making? that the rest of us don't see??? WTF! Right now Carvalho is surplus with some talent. Gvardiol would be the "hell yeah!" signing you speak of. We might even be able to get another "hell yeah" signing as well… This is so frustrating. I see what FSG have done to the Redsox here in the States and it gives me no confidence in this ownership going forward.

  5. As a Liverpool fan, 40 million isn't enough to clutch your pearls over in exchange for a player that COULD be the next generation of your beloved squad's defense. And because he's young and extremely athletically talented, he stands to learn a lot from veteran defenders like Virgil van Dijk. Now, if they were throwing around numbers like 60-70 million or more, then you start worrying about a major money bonfire and a flop of an acquisition. I just don't see the cause for concern, though, because I've been watching Tyler Adams be the backbone of the USMNT defense for the last few years, and he's most certainly one of the BIG pieces there to be credited for the increasing success in American international soccer. Sure, they're not superstars, but the USMNT seems a little bit more dangerous each time they play. Large in part because of your Tyler Adams, Sergino Dest, Antonee Robinson and Tim Ream. Their Defense is actually legit, and Balogun joining as their much needed lead striker could make the USMNT a force to be reckoned with in the future.

  6. Look, if we got him he would be able to play in Klopp's system and Leeds fans liked him a lot. He would do well and Anfield would love him for his willingness to get stuck in. But if we missed out on him it wouldn't be a big loss. What I find interesting is that everyone shits on him because he's a Yank (be honest, you know it's true) and he's the kind of guy who thrives on that. The price is too high at $40m but that means nothing, Mac Allister was valued at $70m and we figured out a way to get him for $35m. Tyler Adams might not have a release clause but does he have a relegation clause? There is a way to get price down and his weekly wage bill will be low.

  7. Tyler is the highest work rate guy on the pitch. Would be a great addition, dunno about the price. You English folks are just biased against the Yank who put in work vs. England in Qatar!

  8. No No No No No No I hope not if we are our whole transfer policy and anyone involved in it need sacking. Why not rice ? Why not caicedo ? Why not barrella yknkw really good genuine players

  9. Look at the level of player we are going for.
Straight up Aldi, but only with the 30% off stickers.
    Shocking
    F Off FSG

  10. I'm no longer confident in our transfers since Edwards has gone. Seems like the transfer dealings don't have the same genius as before.

  11. Honestly if we continue going for midfielders that can be workhorses but not with a lethal ability at something – whether it's passing, control/touch, defensive, shooting, etc we're in for another poor campaign. We have been so 1 dimensional for so many years now, and yes we've won some trophies, but teams know how to frustrate us. Everytime we play against a reasonably strong midfield, we've struggled so hard it's crazy. It can't be that if Trent is having an off day, or not on the pitch, there's 0 creativity.

  12. We are not going to get Valverde or midfielders that are already at the massive clubs and playing CL. We have to buy potential and hope for the best. We aren't a London club or one that throws money at players to attract them. Even when we were doing well, we really need to convince players to come and buy into the vision. I hope we get Thuram over the line, and that Thuram and Mac Allister do work out well. But beyond that we need backup for Salah (we've never had 1 backup for this), 1 more midfielder and a CB or RB. I'm not sure we'll get all those in.

  13. After MacAllister and Thuram, i wouldn't be surpriced if liverpool goes out and brings 2 more midfield players in. 1 like viega or kone and 1 like sucic, adams.

  14. I really expect 1 big player like fabinho or Thiago LEAVING LFC. my prediction is we will bring 3 top midfield players and 1 for the future, 1 center back and 1 attacking player for the future.

  15. Who? In the beginning, it was Tchouameni. Then, it was Bellingham. Now, it's this mofo. FSG are excellent at managing expectations. Henry is good. When that plane flew over Anfield, he came out and let Liverpool fans know who is the boss the boss is the one who will decide how they spend their money. The problem is that the fan base fund their pyramid scheme.

  16. Please no the kid Adams is absolute trash wouldn't even be happy seen him on Liverpool's bench from a free nevermind wasting money on him. Thuram, veiga, gravenberch, kone ect not bloody Adams.
