      Letโ€™s be real; unless the guy has two warriors next to him in midfield or a PROPER defensive right back, he will be a complete liability against top teams who keep possession in midfield. Against smaller teams like today, he will boss the game and itโ€™s a very valid option for him. Against a City, Madrid, etc itโ€™s not going to be pretty. It works for Stones because he not only has Rodri alongside him, or because he has much more natural defensive tendencies, but because he has three warriors behind him. Trent is one of the worst defensive players Iโ€™ve ever seen. Offensively he is class.

      Anyone else noticing a schism amidst England nt, like in the 2000s? Watching this week's training videos pre-match, and the bench for his game, the newly-decorated City lads seem as if they're in their own little separate clique, as if they think they're too good to be there (maybe they are–in which case, they need to go home and give their places up). It's been the downfall of the England set-up for so long, and it's happening all over again.
