      Arsenal need both if their serious about getting close to city!we are scoring enough goals its defensively their is a problem.I think balogun needs a chance also and use jesus as saka rotation when he needs a break.We need gvardiol frkm lipzig who can play center half and left back

      Caicedo. West ham have averaged 42% possession with rice in their midfield. That might be moyes’ fault and not rices though. But rices strengths are breaking up play and counter passing and carrying. The top teams don’t play that way unless they’re managed by mourinho.

      All we need is Caciedo to move Enzo higher up the pitch and we are in better shape right away.. add Nkuku and a proper coach in Poch, while we clear the deadwood and we are top 6 once again !

      Just ask any non-premier league avid watchers to eliminate any bias. I can assure you that most of their answers will be different to these so called English pundits hyping English players and trying to justify the overpricing stamped on the player's release.

      The hype of Declan rice is nothing short of cancerous.. Steven Gerrard was 25 when he won the champions league almost single handedly. Going of rices valuation a player like Gerrard would go for £400m today

      This isn’t even a debate! it’s Caicedo every day of the week and twice on Sunday!! Remove the fact that Rice is English, pretend his name is Ricerez from Colombia. Then you would get everyone saying Caicedo

      None of them are worth it more than 40 50m but stupid PL teams want to pay double. My club Chelsea in front of all of them. Haaland came for 50m don't forget that.

      Rice is the most overrated footballer in world football.
      He literally gets credit and hype for things he doesn't actually do on the pitch. Ive never seen anything like it.

      He gets credited for his non existent attacking play, while also getting credit as a centre back.
      Mind boggling.

      rice is more of a central defender hyping rice up to be a box to box these guys just love licking the butholes of these english players its so cringe a box to box is someone like savic rice aint nothin like that

      Honestly I’m baffled .Declan rice is great but caicedo is elite and they did face off each other and caicedo won clear as day . Biased or not you know the Ecuadorian has a reach that only other people beside the English media would understand

      Didn’t know who Cassiedo was until Brighton won a few games.

      Great player. And tbh prob still needs to show more and will now Brighton on bigger stage!

      Rice was England’s best player consistently in euros and WC look at his MOM awards.
      Has been West Ham cpt at 23 for two years
      Has over 200 prem games at 24 already. Would start in any international team on world football .

      Says it all.

      Rice is good at marking hiself up and waving his arms about thats why players just bypass him he not bad but not great 100 million is a joke

      Just listening to Jason Cundy, you could tell a major reason why he thinks Rice is better is because he's English. I'm just glad Chelsea seem to not be interested in Rice but Caicedo. Hopefully, Arsenal get their man before MR. Boehly begins having second thought.

      I watched the game between Arsenal and Brighton at the emirates. You don't win 4-0, and properly dominate a team like Arsenal both in stats and the eye test unless you have midfielders who can absolutely boss a game. Caicedo and McAllister were instrumental that day. Rice has never had a game against a top opposition like that. Maybe because Moyes don't play that way. But me thinks Rice himself isn't suited to that kind of game. Rice is a Mourinho-type midfield destroyer who don't bother with the buildup side of the game. Right now, the only position where England don't have top-tier players is central midfield.

      For simply being a midfielder in that fantastic Brighton side, you earn Brownie Points in my opinion.

      Rice has not had a good season and is relying on reputation. Caicedo played him off the park earlier this season. Caicedo is going to be a world class player, not sure about Rice.
