Of course a glory supporter like Andy "doesn't get" Kyle Walker wanting to play for Sheffield United again. Kyle didn't want to leave so early anyway, he was famously pulled from the United coach heading to Blackpool away when Spurs recalled him early.
For most of us our local clubs are in our blood, whether that's Man City, Sheffield United, Exeter, Yeovil wherever. Andy will never get that.
I'd take him at Liverpool in a heartbeat.

Too good for Sheffield United. Why doesn’t he take a risk and play abroad? More English players need to do this. At least he can say he played in a foreign league. He’d be good for Bayern they need a right back
I doubt they'll see this but my question would be after whats been achieved this season with City how high is Walker now ranked in terms of English full back players in the EPL or earlier. Also same question as Stones now too with CBs. Walker has probably been England's #1 RB for the last 10 years, he's been playing a high level pretty consistently at club level maybe slightly longer. Stones been part of Englands main CB choice for last 8 years, IMO been our best CB since 2019 by a distance. Basically are they on the level of the likes of Neville, Terry, Adams, Ferdinand, Campbell, Cole. If not why and how close? What more do they need to reach that level? I'd say they're getting pretty close to those levels. Walker still good enough to be England's main RB at the 2024 Euros. Stones looks good enough to still be at a high level at the next World Cup.
