I like that our team seem relaxed. I think that is a good sign, but I just hope they aren't too relaxed. They will need to come out with intensity as sometimes we come out with that slow start.
I get the feeling Brendan wants to leave Leeds, maybe he is struggling mentally as he hit the ground running and was confident, but something happened at around the time of the world cup and he has been a shadow of himself compared to the start of the season. In his defence 3 managers in one season really didnt help.
I hope he stays, the club is being rebuilt from the top down, fresh approach and a good pre season under his belt he could have a great season in the championship. To be critical he needs to lose the european mentality of searching for a free kick. There is very little sympathy in English football for those who go down with the slightest touch, if he knocks that out of his game and becomes more phsyical he has all the characteristics of being a top class midfielder/winger.
I am also hoping Adams stays too but there is a lot of interest being shown in him so unlikely to be able to keep him. If the 49ers can convince them both to stay then that would be fantastic.
