  1. This is what we have been saying all this while he is just being frank cos of where he was raised. How can the national team coach live and work outside the country all his time this cannot happen in any serious country except Gh where everything is possible

  3. I think we are reading too much meaning into what he said.

I think he first acknowledged the fact that a national team coach should be in the country.

However, he would continue to work from Germany with his competent mates because things are working out well as planned.

He is saying he would continue to work from Germany unlike other National team coaches who live in the country.

You would notice how he commended his colleagues and emphasized how they work together.

This doesn't mean he's not committed to the national team nor he's not taking the job permanently.

    Summary of what he meant

Unlike other National team coaches who live in the country of their jobs, I will continue to work from afar to produce good results thanks to my competent and hardworking mates and backroom staff.✌🏿💪🏿🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭

  4. I think we shouldn't read much into what he said besides it's just 18months and he can be a far study and work on the national team very well. The national team doing well is not determined by staying in the country, I believe is about how tactically good you are, monitoring and knowing the kind of players who can fit in your formation.
However, people staying here couldn't do extremely much.
He can come, handle what is there to control…go back and continue his job at Germany. Look football is about getting the work done!

  5. Otto Addo want to secured his Dortmund job because in case things didn't work out the way its expected he will not lose his job at Dortmund.

  6. National teams jobs doesn't last for more than 4years Otto Addo is young and growing up in age and experience he doesn't want to lose the Dortmund job now because he is learning. We have to wait for the fruit to grow even though it's looking good now it's not ready for consuming. After 2023 the job should be given to Chris and Otto Addo will come back after another 6years ready. We wish him luck in the next one year.

  7. How can you give our national team coaching job to a part time coach?? (He's still a trainer scout). This is the black stars and should be treated as such. The fact that the fa got it right during the WC qualifying play offs ( per our qualification to the WC) doesn't mean it's a right decision for the future of the black stars. Otto's job was to qualify Ghana to the WC and it's done! U don't expect a coach of Chris Houghton's calibre to still accept to act as technical advisor. Just give him the job long term and we move.

  8. Andre Ayew is the 2 times Africa best player nominee 2011 and 2015 , in 2011, behind: Yaya Toure 1st (Cote Ivoire) Seidu Keita 2nd (Mali) Andre Ayew 3rd (Ghana) then in 2015, behind : Aubameyang 1st ( Gabon) Andre Ayew 2nd (Ghana) Yaya Toure 3rd ( Cote Iviore) Ghana let Celebrate Andre Ayew because it not easy to be shortlisted among the 3 great players in Africa!!!!!!

  9. You’re right what you think. For me he’s been honest in my opinion because he’s not ready to move from Germany to live in Ghana. He’s telling GFA to get ready with a new coach after the World Cup and the Cup of Nations.

  10. But I don’t see anything wrong in what he said…we are not in the 1860’s …yes u went digging deeper than the word deep.

  11. I had a dream about 5 yrs. ago before C.K. Akunnor's appointment. I saw Avram Grant back and coaching the Black Stars and recently his name flashed before my eyes in another short dream. Some of my dreams come to pass.
