      Ally, Bielsa was better at making mediocre players into far better than what they are. Leeds’ squad when we came up was bang average low championship players.

      Personally I think Kalvin Phillips does have a chance to stay but I do think it comes down to Declan Rice.
      We all know Rice is going to move, it does seem like he'd be going to Arsenal but until the transfers are all done then anything could happen.
      With the talks of Rice potentially going to City with a swap deal for Kalvin Phillips, if Rice fancies City then I see Kalvin Phillips time at City being over.

      Saying that, if the most likely thing happens and Declan Rice doesn't choose City then Kalvin Phillips definitely has chances at City

      I'd like Phillips to leave, coz I don't think he's good enough. Not being selected because you're overweight is unprofessional, disrespectful & embarrassing. But we gave him a 6-yr deal @ £150k/wk, and no one else is gonna pay him that kind of money. He's zero chance of ousting Rodri, so it'll probably be another season of benchwarming & then maybe risking him vs Shrewsbury Town in the League Cup. Whilst trying to stop him frequenting the local Greggs every day.

      "John Stones has been a work in progress since he was signed in 2016" what a load of rubbish. Stones has been terrific since the day he was signed. Injuries has been his only issue.

      Philip's will get some time to prove himself and to shine, look at Grealish for instant, he was a bench-warmer for the first half of the season.
      It's just be unfortunate that Phillip has been plagued with injuries but hopefully next season it will be better for him.

      City fans should show some loyalty and gratitude for the whole squad that's got them over the line, even the players who haven't managed to break in or contribute much yet.

      It was pretty obvious that he was going as a back-up to Rodri…. He will stagnate…. English players need to stop going to Top 6 benches…. Go to teams where you are 1st choice….

      This guy jamie chats rubbish. Pep already had de bruyne, fernandinho, silva, sterling, and kun there when he arrived. Half a side. He only needed to get 5 more players, yet hes spent well over a billion since he been there. He has brought in 47 players in his time there. God knows how many fullbacks hes bought at ridiculous money. So to say he just buys players and they just slip into the system couldnt be further from the truth. This guy is a football reporter ! So hes either not good at his job or hes showing his large bias to city

      Where does this jamie get his info from ? According to him on real madrid have retain the european cup. Once again, he couldnt be further from the truth. 8 sides have done it before. If pep retained the cl next year, they will be the 3rd english club to do that after liverpool and forrest 🤦‍♂️
