I don't think Simon was having a dig really what he said is true there are many mediocre footballers on high wages which makes the more talented ones have stronger positions in demanding higher fees. One thing that's not mentioned is that players can only get paid lots of money due to the money involved within the sport. Football has many different markets (sponsors, TV broadcasting, branding, licenses) and that's apart of the financial balloon which resembles the players wages. If the players aren't paid, where else does the money go ? It's money within the sport.

I think personally Simon Jordan's judgement is incorrect and underestimating Saka's potential.
I also think that when you are a black player, you will not get the credit you deserve and your salary is always in question hence why we still don't have any former English players as Coaches while Lampart or Gerrard being giving chances.
