Liverpool know what they do when they buy such players. Recruitment team is at an elite level. Usually they get the transfers right and maybe at times they have come up short in transfer windows like CB and midfield crisis but when they work, they work well. Also transfers are done quickly with no bidding wars. If Chelsea or Utd were bidding too I'm sure it would've cost way more.
