For me signing this guy makes absolutely no sense. We need a proper dm, not another centre midfielder. It’s really frustrating, a step backwards in my opinion. If we’re gonna raid gladbach I hope we get zakaria.
Utility man like James Milner
I’ve actually watched him a bit this season, and he’s solid skill wise. Good at finishing, passing, pretty intelligent player, but he’s not very quick, and i don’t think he’s good enough to compensate for that in the PL. Honestly, he isn’t bad, but we should pass. As others have said, we should really only be buying studs for the starting lineup like Håland, and other than that we should be promoting our youth players. They are more than talented enough to fill the gaps in our squad.

Every couch has his philosophy of how he ones to play and with the pressure today with big clubs like Chelsea the board wants results…the manager is therefore always under pressure to perform…so he is going to go with what works for him in the arrears that needs improvement although I understand we have an academy with good players but are they good enough to handle the pressure when it comes to the premier league and most importantly Europe….its a difficult decision for a couch to make with all the expectations from the board…from our academy in my opinion it's only Mason Mount that are ready to compete consistently on this level…Tammy, Reece James not quite there yet
