Don't be fooled by his media appearance. Several European clubs were after him. Enormous engine, with a great shot and plays the angles beautifully.
Western Sydney Wanderers coach Tony Popovic let a class player go. It was Melbourne City's gain. He's not the most talkative chap, but man can he play a sweet throughball to the front third. Sharp in and around the area too. Works his socks off.
My word,what a player ! I saw this guy strutting around the pitch against Liverpool (in the Bill Shankly Cup) and I thought "who the hell is that?"…..it turned out to be Aaron Mooy.. He's just marvellous,I can't believe Town have got such a great footballer,even if he is on loan.
