    Wout Weghorst travelling to Manchester United after terminating Besiktas deal

    Netherlands striker Wout Weghorst is travelling to Manchester United to finalise his loan move from Burnley after ending his Besiktas stay.

    The 30-year-old had been on loan at the Turkish club but has decided to move to Old Trafford until the end of the season.

    Sources in Turkey have told Sky Sports News that Weghorst visited the Besiktas offices on Thursday morning to sign papers to terminate his loan agreement at the club.

      Burnley does not have quality players. Quality players play well when they play in a team with other quality players. This guy was a beast for Wolfsburg and Besikstas. I don't know which magic they wanted him to perform at Burnley when the team in all fairness was not good enough.

      Not overly impressed, but I have to say that ETH is the first United manager since Sir Alex that I can honestly say I trust. Apart from the start of the season, he hasn't made too many mistakes so far.

      I'm sick of people saying Ronaldo was good for Man United last season. No, he was good for himself but the team was worse off with him in it last season. On the other hand, Ronaldo was magnificent for Man United in his first spell.

      Aboubakar if that happens, is more what Besiktas is searching for and Wouth is the profile what ManU needs. This is win win for all. Because of our shitty wingers we need a striker which gets more in position bi his own dribblings and technique. And ManU has world class wingers which feed a colossal striker like weghorst all the time. That fits for both teams, I wish Wout good luck and every success he can get he should get. Wout could have easily scored 6-7 goals more whit a not injured Ghezzal and not so shitty Dele Alli on his back.

      He's might be the ultimate pinch hitter but i don't think he's good enough for ManU starting line-up. 4 years ago he played at my team Az in the Netherlands and it was a pity for us he left for Wolfsburg but understandable. His mentality was and is outstanding.

      Am a man utd fan but I seriously have to question the sanity of so many fans. You all said the same think when United did the same thing, acting like this is some master stroke tactical genius move. So here is what will end up happening is united will play lump it up football. United don't have great ball crossers of the ball. Their style of play will change and they will do what they did when they signed a tall lanky striker and play lump it into the box. Mancity, Liverpool, Newcastle, arsenal, and more are signing top strikers and developing them.
