1:25 This feels like wrong formula, correct answer. The referee doesn't seem to want confirmation that the hand was either making the body unnaturally bigger or moved towards the ball to indicate deliberate handling; despite the VAR's comment, the latter is what this really is. Because absent one of those, giving a PK/YC for a ball taking two deflections before catching a naturally positioned arm would have been a regrettable decision.
How is that a handball in the San Jose game, but for Charlotte, in both games on the 17th and 20th, there were NO handball calls for Charlotte FC? That's utter crap. Your refs are extremely inconsistent with their calls. Especially where Charlotte FC tends to be concerned. Seems like MLS "Pro" Refs are determined to keep Charlotte out of the playoffs this year…. absolute crap officiating.

Greg ~ any stats on times where PRO thinks something should have gone to review but wasn’t recommend?
Also, for referee training, how do you define clear and obvious?
I don’t always agree with the calls but I love that you guys do this and I know I wouldn’t have been able to make half the calls these guys do!

Edit: less morally charged language.
