First class show. Intelligent, thoughtful content.
US women’s team sued about a deal they agreed to and wanted special privileges. They wanted all the benefits they normally get which men don’t get as well as equivalent prize money for winning tournaments, despite the men’s World Cup generating way more. Legally they have no case and it’s just a money grab. No respect for them. Megan Rapinoe is a virus.
We need 2 strikers and one HAS to be Ings……. Kane needs to go now…his head is in Wonderwall land……….Ings really is Kane light in many respects….but we need another Younger striker….can you imagine if somehow out of nowhere..DYBALA…..lol
I am loving the defence thinking…we need ANOTHER cb…though…… I have faith that Don Paratici will completely finish this rebuild in 2 more windows…this time.e next year Potch era will be officially over…
Romero looks hugely promising but then Tanganga goes? Always one step forward one back. As for Kane, I am disappointed not only to think the "Spirit" of this team may be gone and the way he is handling it, but it's all down to Levy and his empty promises and shenanigans. Kane had it up to his neck. The Thrill Is Gone and who can blame him? I don't.
The unjustifiably "entitled" plastics may whine about what Harry has done and I have to admit, it is a body blow but I understand why he did it and give him my whole-hearted support.
Just look at the way this transfer window has gone, we now have a new keeper who was bought for a worryingly low Fire sale price and an exciting-but untried at Prem. level young lad in Bryan Gil, the clock is ticking, every other club is run professionally and know what they are looking for-unlike Spurs who usually end up desperately scrambling around for who's cheap and available on the very last day.
Harry Kane just sees a continuation of the lousy, penny-pinching, short-sighted, ingrained window protocol from Levy and probably thought-"FucK this again!"
Our competitors for top-4 and cups are assiduously re-arming for the new season but we are a Levyshambles, Kane should not be landed with the responsibility and extra workload of getting us our goals while the rest of the team is just not up to it-or can't be arsed.
It took the best part of a month to land Romero and had Harry not acted, knowing Levy, it would have been no surprise if he let the clock run out on the deal then opted for cheapo alternatives citing his usual flurry of BS excuses, we may have the top talent scout in Paratici but Levy has his claws on the purse and getting him to invest in the way the club needs-for long-term growth would make restoring his hair seem like childsplay.
Whatever-Levy now knows he really has to get serious and land some significant talent, if Kane is forced to stay, he'll demand much higher quality support than he is used to so that playing is less of a soul-sapping chore each week, and if Levy doesn't deliver for the fans this time?–I'm all for pitch invasions and sit-downs until he is forced out.
I'd love him to stay but he needs to move on and we can't stand in his way, he has given us his all but Levy has just used him to keep us at a respectable level in the league when someone who did not treat THFC as a cheap-to-run Cash Cow for his other business interests would have built up the side with teammates to match, we could have been up there with Real Madrid and Barcelona but the lack of ambition at the top trickled down and bred apathy and complacency in the squad.
Levy….
Lukaku to Chelsea, Mbappe to Madrid, Kane to City (next year probably, Haaland to Man United (next year). I predict those moves will happen.
