Even though I support a rival team (Corinthians), I gotta admit, I'm a bit jealous of Grêmio for having Suarez on their squad. It's pretty awesome to see such a talented player joining their team.
Suarez plays deeper at Gremio and is basically the team's main buildup option. He receives the ball and then passes or carries it forward. He shoots a lot too, but he's actually not getting many chances in high-value areas and has a really low xG for a forward. I think it's a cool role that highlights an undervalued part of his game that made him so elite, his passing and positioning.
