Heβs not being treated unfairly nor is ten Haag disrespecting him. United are objectively better without him wether youβre looking at this season or the season before he joined where they finished 2nd with 50 more goals scored as a team.
Roy Keane understands the concept of honour. He understands the indignity and disrespect Ronaldo is being subjected to, unlike people who don't have that champions mentality.
Football has a short term memory. Ronaldo was carrying Manchester United last season and would have been Premier League top scorer if the team wasn't so poor. This season they've been losing without Ronaldo too so to blame Ronaldo is shortsighted. People love simple answers to complex problems and blaming Ronaldo is easier than blaming the whole team. Critics say that he isn't playing because he isn't in form but it's the exact opposite, he isn't in form because he hasn't been playing.
Ten Hag is treating a club legend with the utmost disrespect. You don't try and sub a legend on to run down the clock for 1 minute when you're winning 2-0. You put on a defensive player. That was a power move to humiliate Ronaldo. The critics of Ronaldo need to remember that Manchester United wouldn't be the same club without the significant contribution Ronaldo has made over the years. Ten Hag hasn't even been there for a year.

Ronaldo has played under top managers, not one has ever complained about his professionalism or attitude. Now suddenly a manager comes who has no prior experience of big jobs and suddenly he's a problem? Results may be going his way so far but Ten Hag someday will lose the dressing room.
