  1. Wayne Rooney for me was one of the most complete players I've ever seen in his prime…unselfish as well. He allowed players like Ronaldo to step up, but Wayne was still the engine of the team – for me he was the most important player at United for that period until Fergies retirement.

  2. Maybe you were too young to see him, Rants, but Lee Sharpe was a very exciting winger for about one or two seasons. He was equally as good as Giggs and probably better. Alas, he didn't have the professionalism to make the grade long term. But for two years he was really great to watch. 🙂

  3. What would Van Persies goal/assist stats be like if he wasn't injury prone?! The man was an absolute beast. Could play on his own or with a front 2 or 3. Always stepped up for his team….. Even in the 8-2. Gutting to see players that good be injury prone as I think he COULD have been up there with CR7 and Messi based on numbers. Toe to toe with any other striker as it stands.

  4. We can’t get a DOF in because Woodward doesn’t want to relinquish any power the TWAT! 🤣 Cracking show as usual 👍🏻👊🏻

  5. Is there any particular player i wish had a better career at man utd if it wasn't for injuries or lost of form?
Answer: LUIS NANI .. the guy had world class potential, he was even better than cr7 for 1 season .. unfortunately injuries plagued his career

  6. Roy Keane was epl player of the season in 99 I believe. His peak, 98-02… Name any better dm's than he or Patrick Viera in world football. Davids and Makelele are in the conversation as well, but offered less going forward than Roy or Patrick.
Keane had offers to transfer to Juventus and Real during his career as well. Analyzing his skill set, he was an elite passer of the ball over the 10-15 years range, two footed shooting, and elite anchor man skill set as a dm. This is not factoring his "leadership"

The reality is the only reason sir Alex didn't mention him is because of their longstanding feud which will forever remain unresolved. Keane said Brian Clougj was the best manager he ever played for, which is about as honest as Fergusons comment. Sir Alex wouldn't list anyone as world class whom he fell out with. That's why Stam, Van Nistelrooy, Keane weren't mentioned.
