I'm a Man United fan and there were ten games on today, we were trying to clinch 3rd place as opposed to 4th… but guess which game I watched?
Yep, this one! Only this game and the Leicester game mattered to me, but since Everton have not been relegated for 72 years, I thought this is easily the most important fixture of the ten.
Congratulations to Everton for avoiding the drop – not one single fan of any other club in the country wanted to see Everton get relegated (except Liverpool fans) and they came so close this season, but have managed to continue their almost unbelievably long run in the top flight.
Hats off to the goal as well, worthy of winning any game. The more I watch it back the better it is. On the volley, a screamer. I hope next season Everton can get a bit more of a foothold early on in the season and not have to put their fans through this again. How many fans at the game today witnessed them being relegated last time around? They would have to be at least in their late 70's so it can't be many. A club that truly is a part of English sporting heritage… even if they are mediocre most seasons, that doesn't matter.
What is the commentators name?
Win or lose up the blues let's go everton 💙
Man that’s some Goodison roar there. Say what you like about the team and how bad we’ve been, but the roar was spine tingling. Gonna miss this ground. Iconic sporting venue!!
Horne, Farrelly, Doucoure.
Celebrations, little over the top.
That goal was hit with premiership intent causing Leicester GBH.
How have these man survived another season. Cant wait t see them in the championship one day.
A muslim saved everton 😂
Money must have changed hands again after this lot avoided the drop again. Unbelievable
It hurts going down but that’s football Everton wanted it and they got it well done MOT💙💛🤍
Probably wouldn’t be in this position if we didn’t have Frank Lampard to start with. Useless manager.
Even Conor Coady, a Liverpool fan, was over the moon with it!
where the problem lies with everton is, nothing will ever be good enough for their deluded fans. They think they should be challenging for a champions league spot and if they aren't near the top of league they boo the players even on the first game of the season
I hope that our team does not flounder in the relegation zone anymore😢😢 It's time to reclaim the status of the 16-17 season! Let's go Toffees
Sell high, buy low, that's a start 😊
Well done Everton glad yas stayed up 👍⚒️
Dacoure's goal was class but Pickford did it all 🐐
The was not playing football under Lampard regime 😂😂 now he saved Everton. The beautiful game .
I think the Bornmoth player (Moore) should have been given a red card for holding Pickford back from doing his job.
I’m soo happy Everton has survived .. congratulation 🎉 Liverpool fan🎉
The keeper just stood there doing nothing, not even reaching out a hand?
As a ipswich fan now going up to champions it would have been a lovely away game if you lot got relegated. But you don't deserve to be anywhere else other then the prem. Glad ya stayed up
Doucoure wonder strike and a beautiful save via Pickford ensure Everton EPL…..
From a Tottenham fan I’m glad Everton stayed up
00:28 not a nice thing to call someone!
For a supposedly big club, that pitch invasion is embarrassing. Two seasons they’ve narrowly avoided relegation and they celebrate like a small club – think if Huddersfield or Luton survive for a season on a shoestring budgets…
The most important three moments that kept Everton up this season, the unexpected 1-5 🗑️🚮ing of Brighton, Jordan ⛏️ford's penalty save against James Madison when Leicester were leading 2-1 going into half time, Nick Pope's 90th minute save against Leicester last Monday when the score was 🥅ess.
Abdoulaye Doucouré also deserves a shout out, he really stepped up in the last few games. 👁️👀🔎
Everton will be relegated before I die one day 😂😂😂😂😂
Super goal but a real shame they didn't drop.
Absolutely gutted this grubby little club stayed up. Hopefully next season they will go down.
Well done ,Everton fans dont deserve lower league footy , now you can get te new stadium & march on
