Nikola Vlasic has been heavily linked with West Ham over the past few days with rumours suggesting he is close to a permanent deal to move to the Premier League. I discuss the CSKA Moscow’s potential and compare him to West Ham’s other attacking midfielders.

  1. Sounds very interesting but didn’t do too well when he played at Everton a few seasons ago! But his stats have improved and is now a better all round player, let’s hope it’s another of one of Moyes gems ⚒⚒⚒

  2. If he adapts successfully he can be a very good player for West Ham and plus he seems like a workaholic so that will be good for you. Fun fact he played for Hajduk Split, the same club where Slaven Bilić and Nikica Jelavić played.

  3. He has become a really top player. Technique, dribbling, strength, speed, creativity, shots. He's very dangerous and will be fantastic …

  4. His nick name is Niksi or Nixi for you to understand better.

We believe that he's in a center prospect of future for our national team. So, enjoy what he does to Real Madrid when he came from Everton, on the loan with buying option (and Everton payed 7.5 mil €, sold him for 15.7 mil €, btw.), in autumn of 2018. after the WC in Russia. Some of us was very sad and upset that he wasn't in a squad at that time, but playing for U21. Even more after we send home Kalinić, one of our central striker or no.9, after our first game on tournament whitout posibillity to replace him.

Did you ever saw Jesse Lingard played like that vs. really great team in UCL?

They, CSKA, beat 1:0 great Real Madrid, defending champions, in Moscow. So, imagine that we had in WC 2018 player like that in squad, we would definitely have more attacking options in big games. In final vs. France, for example or England, Denmark, Russia….

Give him little time, support him. He's sister was famous world high jump athlete Blanka Vlašić and father trained her and little Niksi for Hajduk Split and football, so he have a great work ethic, comes from real sport family and he would came after the summer break up ready for preparations for the new PL season. Like great professionals like CR7 do.

  5. He improved and matured since Everton. Talented ,hardworker who comes from a family of athletes. His sister is an Olympic medalist and his father was a professional athlete and today is a great coach and a mentor. Maybe he wont shine in West Ham but I am certain that he will prove his worth and help the club achieve good results! Looking foward seeing West Ham this season!

  6. I know him, he is from my city. Hey guys, this is special person. Only work work work with great talent could bring him golden ball one day. Vlašić never drink a beer, never going to clubs. He have his father and that is point.Joško Vlašić is a Croatian former decathlon fighter and state record holder. Today he is an athletic coach. He is the father of the world-famous Croatian athlete Blanka Vlašić. CHAMPION FAMILY FROM THE CHAMPION CITY OF SPLIT!! BIG THINGS COMING WITH THIS GUY
