  1. Not really for me. I never felt so good at Barca. Yes, he did a lot of assists for Messi and the other attacking players (Suarez, Neymar…), but he neglected his real job, which is defending. Often seen in the big, important games. CL semi-final second leg v Liverpool 2 goals via his side. At the decisive corner from his defense side, he turns away from the ball as the first defender, i.e. with his back to the ball. 2013 in the semi-final first leg against Bayern: bad positional play and runs his back and goal in Müller. At the 2nd Müllertor he comes again 1 step too late. In the 2018 CL quarter-finals second leg against Roma, he was easily overrun by Edin Dzeko when it was 0-1. Don't get me wrong, he's a good player but as a defender he was too prone to make mistakes in the important games.

  2. Jordi alba been playing aince i started watching football. What a legend and so consistent. Yeah hed get caught out here and there but that was down to hyper offensive tactics which pushed the fullbacks super high more than anything. he could def do a role in a lwb type position with less defensive requirements. If the back 3 is solid enough to help a 34 yr old 😂.

  3. Jordi Alba and Piqué should have been out the door after that collapse to Liverpool. Instead Barça held on to them and delayed the squad revamping that should have taken place years back.
