gvardiol is a seasoned player at Left Back aswell tbf
Gvardiol is basically rotation for Ake, he can play LB and CB he is also young and can be developed possibly into a left hand-side version of John Stones as Gvardiol has a very high percentage of line breaking passes as a CB; lastly the guys an athletic freak, he's very fast and jumps like a salmon, he'd be a top player to offer left sided rotation while also improving for the future under Pep.
One question would you buy upermacano ? If the answer is no then he defended better against city than this guy
wasn't impressed by him at the WC… very sluggish and slow on his feet .
This player just 20 or 21 year old , he is big and need few years to develop also. It is clear Laport will leave if he realy coming to City.

Better to sign Gvardiol since we are getting rid of Laporte and Cancelo(40 + 60m). Gvardiol makes our defence more balanced. Because we will have 4 very capable CB's , all the players will get enough chances since we have like a 100 games an year and can even play 4 at the back with Gvardiol and Walker so it makes a lot more sense.
Gvardiol, Bellingham, Kovacic, Latvia and Sane/Nico Williams/ some othe winger who is pacey🖤🏃
And also renew Bellis contract and send him once more to Burnley on loan and we will have another unbelievable right sided CB similar to Akanji coming in.
