Why is Micah Richards allow to talk football he didn’t say any sensible points
They said play on when Martinelli got tha goal against Salford Athletic but that got pulled back so its correct today too 👍🏼😜
Did u see what they did to mo 👑🤴??
The argument over whether the referee let other fouls go or not is irrelevant. The only question is: was this a foul? The answer is yes. Fabinho has won the ball, he is then yanked by the shirt off the ball and that allows Man City to regain possession and score.
Open and shut case. The entire point of VAR is to correct decisions when the ref misses something during the game which has a tangible effect on the outcome. So Micah's (who generally, i do like, I have to say) whole 'the only angle that matters is the one the ref saw in real time when he didn't give a clear foul' couldn't be any more garbage. It just has no basis or substance to it. He has got this one wrong.
Isn’t that what VAR is for though? It’s a foul and VAR went back to it and got it right. Stop crying
Crychester city, it was a clear foul and the only mistake the ref made was not giving Liverpool a corner after salahs shot was touched out by ederson!
People saying “a foul is a foul 🥴” aren’t seeing the problem. The ref saw it and waved play on, and VAR have got involved in something which isn’t a clear and obvious error by the referee which is something they’re doing in a lot of games
It should have been a Liverpool corner immediately before, so if that had stood that's what we'd be talking about.
Same happened with Odegaard/Eriksen at OT. The refs need to make their minds up on the extended levels of contact allowed this season.
You can't let smaller fouls go all game then call it back if it leads to a goal. I like this new mode of refereeing but it only works if they stick with it 100% and not just for the purposes of making a game less stop-start.
Referees let the game flow in big games and don't in little ones. Feel sorry for the Bournemouth players constantly getting cards
Richards talking his usual b******s. Don't know who's the biggest b******s talker, him or redknapp. If that doesn't constitute a foul, I.e. a clear and obvious error the ref missed in real time, I don't know what does.
Nobody has mentioned the fact it came from a goal kick which should have been a corner. And someone was down getting treatment for at least 3 minutes which would have been plenty enough time to check that decision.
Clear foul lmao
Fabinho is one of the, if not, the biggest cheat in the league. Runs around fouling people in each and every game yet falls over whenever someone touches him.
Do one micah its a foul go cry someehere else
Is it a foul? Yes probably
Is it soft? Yes, absolutely
Would it have been given the other way? I doubt it very much
At the end of the day, it was a fantastic game to watch, both sides going at it hammer and tongue, Liverpool won but could have been different
There's ten games gone and a world cup yet to play. Things will change
I still think arsenal will fade off, I think Liverpool will be fine and spurs will miss top four but that's the beauty of football, nobody knows
Shirt pull is as clear as day. Shut up whining Micah.
Only goes to VAR for goals and red cards and penalties not corners, yellow cards or free kicks. So it makes complete sense it went to VAR and was flagged as a "clear and obvious error" a free kick in the middle of the pitch has completely different set of rules. It's clear in the rules book anyone angry with that decision doesn't understand football
Dry your eyes 👀 Micha
I feel like I’m being gaslit. These guys are telling me something that I know is true, is not true. This is what abuser do in relationships.
one of the worst refereeing performances ive ever seen. it was a foul for the city goal so he got that right in the end but i think he wouldve let a headbutt go today it was a joke. theres letting it flow then theres having a day off being a coward and not making any decisions at all
When a 6ft4 lad pulls you with full force to the ground, your telling me it’s not a foul ? 🤣🤣🤣 salty Micah
Micha stop being salty man the ref's gifted your team the league last season so don't chat about fouls here 🤔🤫
I don't understand the not rerefereeing the game. A mistake is a mistake. That was a foul on Fabinho, just look at VAR and make the right decision. The ref did
Why are people calling this soft? Haaland is literally pulling Fabinho away from the ball?
This is almost exactly the same as the Odegaard decision in the Man U game. It’s poor refereeing
Lol how are ex professional footballers looking at that and saying it’s not a foul 🤡
