A playing ban is fair justice and any player would feel severely consequenced if they could not play actual matches. However, I feel he should be allowed to train with Brentford as part of his rehabilitation.
Toney is a quality player, really enjoy watching him play but he’s not a victim here. He broke rules and he’s now suffering the consequences.
To be honest I agree with Gareth for once. Players shouldn't be banned from training as it has no effect on matches. We should be rehabilitating if he did it again post sentence then escalate

Since we are talking about rules and consequences for breaking them what about Man City that has been under investigation forever and nothing has happened? Instead we are celebrating them winning the league and on the verge of a treble when we know they have not exactly follow the rules. The Italian FA meted punishment for similar breaches to Juventus so why has the English not done anything? I would like to know if a decision have been reached that I'm not aware of.

I think that Gareth Southgate is one of the very few in the the game here in England that has the positive energy and empathy of the culture of the black players in the English game.
