I'd really like to see a return to a 16-team tournament. This big teams are basically guaranteed to qualify, and even in the tournament itself they're basically guaranteed to get through to the knock-out stages because of the 4 third-placed teams who go through.
Unfortunately the same thing has happened with the world cup.
Feels like nervous procrastination talking about Euro’24
Anything to keep my mind off Qatar though !
Feel like whenever we’re in a different pot to Italy we’re always going to draw them like in the nations league we were in pot 3 and they were in pot 1 and just like here as well. We have to somewhat be in pot 1 to avoid drawing them all the time
