Arsenal fan here but I personally think Nick Pope is arguably the best English goalkeeper than trio which was selected.

So let me get this clear – this guy southgate claimed the squad is based on form but kept Maguire in the whole year and the first opportunity or actual half season of inconsistency by Sterling (over the course of 5+ years) and he is out the squad? Also Sterling was in a club and squad that as a whole was in limbo for the season, and its his first season – and Sterling has AlWAYS performed for England, one of those players that regardless of form, performed for the national team. This is why I say they love their own.
