  1. Because when you have less money than the big clubs you cant afford to spend 80 million on fridges you have to invest it smartly or you wont go anywhere

  2. Two things; they have good scouts and they can offer something top teams can’t- guaranteed game time. Mitoma, Ferguson, Enciso, MacAllister, Caicedo wouldn’t be the players we now see if they had joined the top teams. Brighton are the Dortmund of the EPL 👏

  3. They shop in unorthodox markets, and offer game time and patience so the players can adapt over a couple of years. Fans don't turn on them super quickly and they improve in a good environment

  4. Anyone who has played football manager as not a top team with loads of money gets it. Send your best scouts to less popular countries and sign the best players from that country for cheap then sell them on for a fortune after a couple of years. 🙂
