Joan is good but the problem is with nkunku coming I, I don't think he will be needed , since we are already going to go for a winger and a striker . Sterling or felix one of them has to go , 100% stay : datro fofana / mudryk / madueke / broja loan I guess , nkunku / osimhen ( hopefully) / mane or fedrico chiesa for the wing coming in .

I would prefer we sign Goncalo Ramos from Benfica, for the striker role.
The DM role requires experience, I would prefer Tomas Soucek from West Ham or Edson Alvarez from Ajax. We can also play Koulibaly in DM too.
In central midfield we should sign Dominik Szoboszlai.
Martinez and Caicedo would help Chelsea

agree Caicedo. The reason Brighton did not want to sell him is obvious. Rice, brilliant, but Caicedo has more for us. With the better midfield we have a basis for getting more from attackers and defenders so plus new keeper is our essential to build on in future seasons. Great post Alexis, thx

For me Felix, Mount, and Havertz are linked. If Mount signs up…Felix, Havertz are luxury. All of our cm’s except Zakaria are box to box types. Some better suited to attack Havertz, Felix, Mount, Gallagher, Pulisic for example. Some better in build up Enzo, Kova, Kante, Hall, Carney for example. Our squads best talent primarily is in this group. Invariably they are used out of position to shore up our shortcomings in the fwd line or winger or fb line. Need some versatile players yes , but too many cooks spoils the stew. Need to lose 5 of those mentioned above replaced by a couple strikers and couple cdm’s. Need balance.

That's exactly my thoughts were during the game, I thought this was a game made for Stirling Felix up front, Lampard made all 5 subs and Felix left on the bench. When Lampard had his first period as manager at Chelsea he alienated Rudiger who was very instrumental when Chelsea beat City in the Champions league getting De Bruyne out in the final and is doing the same with Felix, I am scared that Felix will eventually end up playing for another premier league club, Players are leaving in the summer and Lampard plays them WHY?
A good penalty saver we need, I don't want to lose to Liverpool on penalties in finals.
