    Burnley 3-1 Crawley Town | Barnes and Zaroury Take Clarets Through | Carabao Cup Highlights



    Burnley secured their place in the Carabao Cup quarter-final on Tuesday night, with a 3-1 win over Crawley Town at Turf Moor.

    Dom Telford gave the visitors the lead in the first half, before Ashley Barnes equalised just two minutes later.

    Substitute Anass Zaroury then gave the Clarets the lead 10 minutes from time, before adding a third in the last minute to put the game out of sight.

    Vincent Kompany made 10 changes from the team that lost to Sheffield United last weekend, with Bailey Peacock Farrell replacing Arijanet Muric in goal. Connor Roberts, Matt Lowton, Luke McNally, and Charlie Taylor made up the back line, with CJ Egan-Riley partnering Samuel Bastien in central midfield.

      See, if Ashley Barnes was in league 1 or 2 he would get double digits each season. He just ain't good enough for a side looking to get back to the prem first time of asking. Never should have given him another contract when he said he was leaving in the summer.

      I tell you what, yes Benson was stunning as always BUT a lot of plaudits need to go to Lowton. He played out of his socks and given our defensive issues, I think he should be given a decent chance here

      Who is that Benson kid? He looks a player, hope Burnley get promoted so a middling premier league side don't sign him and ruin him, he looks like Jack Grealish would if he actually put in effort
