Is Xabi Alonso too much of a risk for Leverkusen?
After last season I really backed Gerardo Seoane to go to new limits with this Leverkusen squad, but unfortunately injuries to Wirtz and other integral squad players and a clear drop off on and off the ball, that wasn’t the case. I’m hoping Xabi Alonso is able to come in and just get his team playing some enjoyable stuff again — that’s the reason football fans feel in love with the likes of Diaby, Writz and Schick — hopefully he can reignite that.
