Doubt it
Cracking player only going to get better under this world class manager.
He's overrated imo
Dont get me wrong I doubted Curtis Jones after I heard he was going to be given a much more important role at liverpool but these past 2 months he has been incredible and Fabinho looks to be back to his old self
Get a grip he's had a few good games and scored 2 good goals against very poor opposition
Man Utd fan, Jones was always good enough, Klopp has made life harder for himself by not seeing this early enough. I liken it to the situation with Moreno and Robertson, Moreno was clearly out of his depth and it took ages for Klopp to actually give Robertson his chance. Longer than it should have in both cases.
us liverpool fans have always wanted him to be great but his constant injuries are the reason there’s been a bit of bad energy around his name. He’s either always injured or he’ll be fit for 3 games then injured again so he’s never found consistency so he’s not been good
It's nice to see Curtis Jones do really well. When you look at some of his performances over the last few years against the likes of Everton and Ajax among other examples, it was always clear there was a quality player there, however he was never very consistent and as a result, he was struggling to get minutes, let alone break into the Starting XI.
He's really seemed to find a lot of confidence from these recent performances and I will gladly hold my hands up as one of those fans who were close to writing him off and would've been tempted to loan him out or even sell him for a good price. More than happy to be proven wrong on this one
He's gotten so much better for us. I think when trent inverts, he can move higher up the pitch. He does less skills now and does the simple stuff and it's just really effective. Interested to see what we do next year
Liverpool fans don’t even think he’s good enough
Stfu spitty 💦. Wrong yin.
Jones's best quality is his ability to find space. I've been so happy to see him back in the starting eleven and with his improved play and maturity, he's only going to get better.
Who needed to spend over a hundred mill on a 20 year old when we've got a player of similar age who's from Liverpool's academy, loves the club and has bags of potential?
Keep going lad, the sky's the limit.
YNWA.
2 goals against relegation fodder. Yeah he's going right to the top guaranteed now!
Jones is growing a developing.
Feel for him as he gets abuse from fans on Twitter, young players need more protection on Social Media
Liverpool fan here. I'm still not convinced about Jones yes he has a few goals but I still don't think he's good enough to get us back to the top. As a Liverpool fan I hope he proves me wrong but we'll see.
Good to see 2 local lads smashing it for Liverpool with Trent coming more central. Would like to see a new right back get involved with Trent playing more central overall alongside jones and possibly new holding midfielder
Offside on both goals 0:27 and 2:09.
Jones was always good you can see he had a nice touch and good dribbling.
he just needed a run in the team.
You’re only as good as your latest trick. He’s been a decent fill in, but he absolutely isn’t good enough for Liverpools ambitions behind anything other than a cheap 7th/8th choice.
How is that goal not offside?
Neville thinking Newcastle are done and that liverpool will finish in top four and he said they’re guaranteed 6 points😂😂😂🤡
Jones isn’t as good as you lot think
CJ always was this player (minus the tactical awareness) you could see it in the youth teams. Brentford away 3-3 is when I realised he was ready for the 1st team. He was taken off at 1-3 and the Liverpool midfield just capitulated conceding two goals that day. His tactical awareness even then was superb. The reason why Liverpool fans didn't favour him was because he didn't do much in the attacking third which takes time because its about a young players growth and him feeling confident that the defensive duties are not compromised. Yes, he also held onto the ball. Now he's aware and confident enough to understand when to attack within the tactical framework. We font need Mount or Mac Allister. We need a DM and Go hard in for Bellingham. Problems solved. Thiago, Fabinho, Henderson, thats 6 midfielders for 3 spots add Bajcetic and Carvalho (who can benefit from watching CJ and transform like Gini did) we have enough.
how many times has he had his breakthrough season
I honestly didn't think he had a future here. Looked average at best but fairplay to him. Klopp said he's improved a lot in the last few months and it's showing on the pitch. It shouldn't change our summer plans but he may have just saved his Liverpool career.
Think he can break through.
They were playing Leicester calm down
Decent squad player at best. Can't be too sentimental because he's a local lad, ala Man United with Lingard.
Curtis Jones quality player, but honestly I dont think I have seen a worse defender in premier league history than that Faes. My word hes 10x worse than Harry Maguire
