Xhaka is leaving probably because he's been told he won't be a guaranteed starter next season. Signing rice/caicedo pushes him to the bench. While he's had a great season, I'm still looking forward to getting someone that offers more overall.

With respect, the comments section is exactly why people laugh at Arsenal. Guy has been an absolute clown of a player, cost the team on several key occasions, most importantly disrespected the club and people still sending 'thanks for your service' messages

We need to players like Xhaka for rotation so our squad is strong an you say we’ve been working on the Rice deal for a while, on what sense? I hope your not talking about personal terms cos thats the easy part the hard part is negotiating with West Ham
At the end of the day the contract and offer been shown to him, he should be happy and we are too for him but it’s time for us to go to the next level

Correct way is to extend his contract and then ask for 20-25 mil, that would be a fair amount and if teams are being cheap we can definitely still use him
Having had his best ever season for Arsenal, the club should get something for him.
This tells me that Arsenal must be confident of getting a replacement from the bench/reserves or from a transfer in (or maybe two!).

Not many 30 yr olds would fetch 15m (31 in sept), sad to see him leave but obviously we will upgrade in quality and age, gl to the man
