      I don't see an issue with "The American connection" I think there's a definite advantage to having a cultural core to a club. I seem to remember when Leeds Utd were at their best (late 60's early 70's), we had half the Scottish national side playing for us. Nobody moaned about the Scottish connection back then.
      Also there's the 49ers and their relatively clean money to back the club (ask Newcastle and Chelski supporters, how morally important that is), and then marketing potential in the U.S. This next couple of years could set the club up for the next 20-30 years.

      I don’t understand the harrison hate, no player has been consistent for Leeds, we not a team that has overall performances that show any consistency. There’s a reason why teams further up the table and teams that in recent times have performed better than us want him. Why are so many players not good enough for Leeds but good enough for other teams ahead of us?

      I agree that we still need a left back. I want Wober as a centre back. He can play as a left back but in this current Leeds defence we need him more in the centre back position. I hope we get that young Belgian goalkeeper in as well.

      Gnonto, Sinisterra, Summerville are all primarily left-wingers, so Harrison can look surplus. On the other hand, he has been a key part of the team, none of the others are really proven yet for Leeds, and there are a number of ways that at least two of them could be in the same team. So if big money and to a club at the top of the table (Arsenal or Newcastle would be fine) then OK. But if for moderate money and to a direct rival like Leicester, no thanks.

      Ger do think Jesse will underestimate Accrington Stanley, will rutter be introduced slowly ie 21s due to not being match fit. Will summervile go down pecking order again. Is there any hope of a future @Leeds for Cody dramha.

      Harrison will always be a legend, needs to power on elsewhere. He's faded undrr jesse. And Dan James needs a new challenge, even 4-7 million would do. Must respect the wage budget or die underneath it!

      Thanks Ger. McKennie looks interesting. The team's attack is looking quite different since when Dan James left. Doesn't look as though he'd have much of a role now. Dunno, maybe I'm wrong.

      Can't wait for Saturday Ger! Accrington's ground is my backyard… I couldn't go to the game last night but kept checking the score all night…😀 I will be in the home end with my mates so I better hide my WHITE Leeds shirt… Can't wait…

      Weston's deal is ace, but doesn't give any solace for Greenwood, Forshaw or Dan {if he comes back}.

      Marsch has been backed – now the results need to follow. I like this move though. We've been lacking an aerial threat on corners and McKennie has great ability in that department.

      McKennie would be a brilliant signing. Tbh I thought he would be beyond us. A right jack of all trades, with an engine that Toyota be proud of. Has gas, has the bit of kn@cker in him too but, shows composure at the same time. Right foot ain't bad either.
      If we sign a LB, and leave Wober where he is in at 5/6 ( agreed, is a leader by the way), we will comfortably finish mid-table. That's the call there now. As for 2023/24 if this sticks… hold onto the hats. Willy is going to absolutely love McKennie. 15 goals next season.

      Would be great to sign Weston, and if we can also sell Harrison for $35 million would be great too as we are loaded up front…now if we could then get a real LB or an additional CB I would lose my mind. I also think it's pretty likely the 49ers are trying to assure we stay up and will take over this Summer; just look at what current ownership did the last 3 windows, and in January we've had as much action as almost all of them combined MOT

Hopefully Jack Harrison stays at least until the end of the season if he's going. Getting the young juve lad in could be a good move for us marching on together, we all love Leeds 🦚🇮🇨👊✊

      We don’t play Man Utd in next round mate. Next round hasn’t been drawn yet we play Man Utd twice in league back to back but if we win in cup it gets moved again 🙂

      If you guys get Mckennie, you wont be Relegated. He's that much of a Game changer, his Defense is Great, but importantly his Playmaking are exactly what Leeds United need!

      remember when pirlo ripped the entire england squad a new one by shuffling around very slowly deep in italy's half then lofting three pinpoint passes in neat succession? Well Harrison's game is the exact opposite of that.

      McKennie had just come back from an injury at the World Cup. So he was out of match form. I agree he wasn’t at his best, but thought he was still pretty good, especially in the first half.
