  1. Two seasons in a row these players have bottled it from a winning position for top 4 and now the title.. Arteta has to come out with answers and not excuses!

  2. Tbf I drive a Dacia duster and a Ferrari pulled behind me at the lights today when it overtook me in about a second I thought yeah I must have bottled that in Gary Neville’s eyes

  3. Think it's ability, experience is what made City go through because they have done this before and are experts in changing the scenario at crucial times. Arsenal had the mentality but not the experience+ they didn't even have other leagues in the way.

    Arsenal fan

  4. Throwing away two 2-0 leads to Liverpool and West Ham, drawing to bottom of the table Southampton at home, getting torn to shreds by Man City and then being played off the pitch by Brighton at home is nowhere near good enough for title contenders. Saying this is anything other than a complete capitulation from the Gunners is insane mental gymnastics

Even if it's harsh, Arsenal did bottle the League and that's a fact. Yes expectations change and very few had Arsenal in their Top 4 predictions, let alone title contenders but people didn't care about that when an average Liverpool team nearly won the League and fell short nine years ago (despite being Top for a few weeks, whereas Arsenal were top for 90% of the season) and it shouldn't matter now

  5. Personally I think if you look at the table at the end of the season you may well say Arsenal have had a decent season.. however, if you look at the table with 7 or 8 games left you’d have to say Arsenal threw it away.. had they lost their recent games mid season everybody would be saying how well they’ve done to finish 2nd..
however you look at it, it can only help them for next season, but worryingly for them Liverpool, Man Utd, Chelsea & Newcastle could improve and overtake. It’ll be another good season I think.

  6. Arsenal have had a good season there's no doubt a young team and made wise signing to finish second to Man City is formidable and yes in the last couple of weeks they have dropped points but they've lost 2 games and against good quality sides but yeah a big loss at this stage is what ends your dreams but you have to credit them for something maybe they have got carried away early but they were still in it until they lost to Brighton but still though as a neutral fan you have to be honest. Man Utd they were expected to even finish outside top 4 but have been in there for most of the season if they lost out to Liverpool that's more costly. You have to be up for every game which at this stage is a cup final. Like it or not it's better to accept what's infront of you.

  7. Arsenal fans now getting a reality check and suddenly their tune has changed from “we’re unbelievable and we’re winning the league” to “we only wanted top 4 to begin with” 😂😂🤡🤡

  8. IMO Nothing went wrong for AFC, it's just that Man City are so so good and have done these run-ins so many times. City have so much more experience and quality of players over this AFC team IMO. They'll learn from this and be stronger next season.

  9. What went wrong ? 😂
So the media skipped the what went right for 90% of the season that got Arsenal from 5th to second?
    Why am I not surprised.

  10. The two things we always knew and the pundits did too was that Arsenal is a very young team with a young manager with a small squad of players. They were up against a massively experienced team with probably the greatest manager in the world and probably; the finest squad of players ever assembled in the PL. You could call it an unfair fight with Arsenal defying the odds and winning on points until the last minute of the last round and then getting knocked out by the bigger stronger guy. It's as simple as that. Man City cannot get any better, Arsenal will. Roll on next season… cannot wait!

  11. My man Neville always said from the beginning city will win premiership and Arsenal will bottle it. 😮
As a Arsenal am sad for Wrighty and all the fans. 😢

  12. Pure and simple when they had that 8 point lead , they celebrated the players got over confident, I don't know which game it was ,

  13. As a Spurs supporter, I think nothing has gone wrong for Arsenal. They have overperformed brilliantly and, finally, they ran out of steam against an almost infinitely richer and certainly much more experienced team, squad, and club in Manchester City. Like Red Rum chasing down Crisp in Grand National many years ago

  14. Arsenal players are not physically capable. They have the skills but not strong physically. Also, there is no reason for Arteta to continue playing Jesus when Nketia is way better than him.

  15. Obvs 2nd is good for them. But you cant lose to Southampton at home in a title run and not call it a bottle

  16. They were never good enough, they have a strong first XI and got lucky with some late winners. City are clearly better.

  17. the smug look on nevilles face, imagine being wrong about arsenal 11 times in a row and being correct 1 time and be THAT smug.

  18. Only reason I wanted Arsenal to win the league was just to not hear Gary Neville's arrogant "I told you so" attitude. Man chats waffle the whole season and somehow manages to be right on this one thing.
