As a Boro fan I’d rather play Luton if we get past Coventry, Sunderland are a good team they will take Luton apart in the second leg, a young fearless team with a really good Mogga in charge

The Marvellous and Pelly bookings seemed to effect our 2nd half performance but Sunderland were good after the break.
I would of took a draw at the SoL before the match if I’m honest our home form hasn’t been the best and we always seem to play better football on the road. I’m sure the 1000+ fans going down will roar us on in the second leg. I was at the match yesterday and the atmosphere was great credit to Luton fans too both times I’ve seen them this season at the SoL they’ve probably been the best fans we’ve had there this season. Some great individual performances yesterday especially Ekwah his physicality on the pitch is something we really need at the moment due to injuries! The football we play at times is so exciting to watch, but the job isn’t done yet! Haway the lads bring on Tuesday!

Talking amongst my fellow fans at half time last night, most are expecting Luton to do us at their place. Our saving grace is that this team doesn't know when it's beaten. We never give up and that might be enough to get us through . Most safc fans would agree we have exceeded all expectations this season and are delighted with how things are progressing. At the start of the season the mission was to just stay up. Anything else is a bonus.
I have to say, as a Sunderland supporter that Luton are a very good team. I think their manager seems very astute and a nice bloke too. It is only half time, a lot of football to be played yet. I agree, Luton were the better team in the first half, we were probably better in the second. I don't think anyone at Sunderland thinks this game is over yet.

Not seen any Luton performances so far this season but I watched this and wasn't impressed considering their 3rd place finish . Play like that even if they go up they will go straight back down couldn't string together 3 passes

We have just played 46 Championship league games in a full season and have lost just 8, are we really going to now lose 2 in a row? Must be odds against, we can beat these on Tuesday.

Im a nuetral with this one but theres no doubting and i should know ,my team are play off kings of england still with 7 play off final wins blackpool fc ,looking back whenever we took any lead into the second leg ,whether it was at home to forest ,or away to oldham we never looked like loosing the tie ,luton can shout it up all they want its half time lol but Sunderland are leading ,already winning when you kick off tuesday like another fan said here ,sunderlands attack is lethal on counter tuesdays game is perfect for them ,i see either a draw tuesday or a Sunderland win 🏆

Good first leg, Luton are a strong team and are a threat when the ball comes into the box. Could go either way tuesday. Best of luck to both teams.
