Couldn't keep a clean sheet against Norwich, sending off saved us against Wolves. Not convinced of Marsch yet but give me a lucky manager any day. MOT
Hi Kagey, I agree with your comments about Jesse, he's an excellent motivator. It disproves the Bielsa worshippers theory, that only he could get a tune out of these players. Bielsa had five wins from 26 this season, Jesse has two from four.
I'm still sceptical about Rodrigo. Let's see how he goes for the rest of the season. He is a quality player, but with a small squad, can we afford to gamble on older players that are prone to injury and loss of confidence? I think we're going down unless we get better quality replacements in and flesh out this squad. We've almost got away with it this season, but the same recipe will lead to disaster if we roll the dice again.

Of all the players that were linked to Leeds over the past year, the one I wanted most was Nao Lang 🤨 he's just pure class and ripping stuff up week in week out!
I don't mind Dan James 🤔 Nao Lang is pure class and scores and assists on the regular!

Ortas comments……. I truly believe the board left bielsa out to dry. So on one hand they want a small squad but apparently he was offered van der beek etc but refused to keep a small squad. The board have been disingenuous during all this
I think provided we secure our Premier League status, Kalvin will stay. I can't see Rapha being here next season but we have to hold out for an acceptable fee. I would look for something in the range of £70-75 million.
As for summer business, we need to bring in an experienced GK, RB, ideally 2 LB's, CDM, 2 CAM's and a ST. Everyone seems to have forgotten, Jesse doesn't use wingers, he plays with two CAM's.
I think Brenden Aaronson will be the Rapha replacement, and he will bring in the likes of a Đorđe Mihailovic to play alongside him in the other 10. I think we missed a great chance with Teun Koopmeiners, who would have been perfect alongside Kalvin and, as an added bonus, is phenomenal at set pieces.
We could do with the likes of David Ospina for experienced backup for Meslier, and he will help teach both of our current GK's a lot.
RB, there are a lot of people naming Sergiño Dest as our target in the media, but that is likely just because he is American. He is a good player though, so I would be happy to have him.
I would have to look into who I would sign as LB's.
hi kagey, well i don't know his overall stats for the game, but i must be the only person who thought that rodrigo was meh!!!??? he scored, but did he??? every time i look at that goal, it looks like the wolves player knocks rogrigos shot into his own goal???!!! i also thought that his passing was well off throughout the game, none more so than the corner he took, passing the ball straight to a wolves player, only to be told off by ayling for lack of composure!!! all seemingly dismissed with his goal celebration, but fans are raving about his amazing performance, well that's football for you i guess???

I don't think a couple of medals means more to KP than being a club legend years to come and long after retirement. He seems the type of guy that thinks longer term than someone like Jack Grealish *(who has lost club legendary status at Villa for a bench/medal career)
i know a lot of fans would have a massive clear-out but begrudingly resigned to losing raphina. for me, id also sell: cooper, klich, roberts, rodrigo and maybe forshaw (or offer him a year or 2 contract?). i understand wanting a bigger squad, but don't forget that 10 players asked to leave in the jan transfer window!!!
if the youngster are not given the chance to prove themselves then they may as well be allowed to leave!!!???
cresswell, gelhardt, greenwood, bate, summerville, hjelde, drameh and even archie gray should imo be getting more game time, but how do they get that if there are 2 or 3 players ahead of them???
wether we stay up or not, it will be an interesting summer transfer window, and imo a fine balancing act for the club to get things right.

I'd sell Llorente. We'd still have Struijk, Cooper, Cresswell, and Hjelde, available as centre-backs, and Koch as emergency cover, if we have three centre-backs injured.
KG, I don't think Kalvin will go to Manchester United. He knows the history between the clubs and has acknowledged how such a move would be received in Leeds.

Cheers man. You doing this means we don't have to, and I've yet to disagree with anything you've said about Leeds. Captain Kalvin stays cos we're not going down, and he's going to start scoring too. Any player that can pass like him can put it in the net, and I was always waiting for Marcelo to bring it out in him.
Tough situation… I think it’s going to have to be incremental changes. Hard to imagine them ripping up the whole team and starting over. Need starting CM desperately, back up keeper and LB.
Does anyone think jesse can change the output in the team of Roberts?
If Grealish is 100mil what price Raphinha?
I think it’s too early to get carried away with marsch but you have to admire the way he seems to have brought the squad together because let’s be honest after spurs they looked flogged

Kalvin will stay with Leeds. Raphinha will most definitely go, but I feel it should be around 75 million.

Kalvin, if we stay up, wil stay as long as the boards ambition matches his. If he goes forget Villa, West Ham etc it would be Citeh, Liverpool etc.
Orta give your head a knock 18 senior players? Was this season's experience not enough of a warning sign for you. 22 quality 1st team players with 4 or so from the U23's for the experience bit with the remaining players available if we suffer another injuries meltdown

Agree that the summer recruitment is key to us being able to evolve- fullbacks giving us width instead of wingers has to mean a new right bk and left bk into the squad 🤞🤞🤞💙💛

Rodrigo is one of many players reinvigorated and stepping up under Jesse’s high motivation coaching of the mind and not just the physical. It helps when he can communicate his own words to the players directly with no interpreter. I also hope Rodrigo stays. MOT!
These guys are skint and unwilling to invest it was all about getting to the prem and syphoning off the coin ….we need owners with deep pockets or we will peddle backwards ..they keep blowing bullshit up the fans arses …ffp for ffs

I read that some of the players were so tired by the time they got in front of the goal they ended up fluffing it. Think it was Pat Bamford and Rodrigo. Ironically both have/had the same foot injury, plantar fasciitis.
Raphinha will leave, Phillips leaving are just rumours as usual, and always have been. Meslier, if Meslier wants to improve, he needs to leave where there is a proper professional keeper coach.
Bielsa refused signings in Jan, including Van De Beek and Noa Lang.
Bamford is finished as a Leeds and PL striker.
Enough blaming Bielsa for small squad. The board did not want to invest. Even 6m for Obrian they did not want to pay even they knew KP is injured..Orta even said that they will not pay for larger squad.
