  1. Preaching to the converted here… heard his father had been to St James' earlier in the season and a potential move was being considered if Forest weren't promoted.. would love to see him in black and white

  2. Don't think he'll do well in the premier League, he'll be one that's good in championship and just below premier League class, I'll keep an eye on him this season .

  3. I have to disagree with Maggot Drowner, I think he has a very high skill ceiling and will do well in the Primer League. He was more than just "good" in the championship, 18 goals and 10 assists was a key reason for Forest got promoted. He has shown in the FA Cup against teams like Arsenal how good he is and has been excellent for Wales playing an important role to get them to the World Cup.

I would love Newcastle to buy him now because his price could be £40-50m nest season if he does well for Forest/ Wales – a lot more than the £20m that was mentioned back in January. And in the future time, the competition could be much fiercer. At the very least, from the few games I've seen of Ekitike and the 6 months I've watched him play for Forest, Johnson seems a much better investment.

Next season we'll see a exactly how good he is but from the last 6 months I've been following him, I believe he has a much higher skill ceiling than ASM – time will tell.
