Billy the fish would be a better option right now . Cheap option martnez hes got some personlity and man utd need some fight in the team hes got presence as well .

@StatmanDaveClips I agree there are better options for DDG. But financially it's better he signs( we can sell him for at least 20m if he signs) , then replace his position with Dean Henderson and we give him a chance. Diogo Costa /Onana/ Raya would cost around 40m-50m with that money it could buy us Kim minjae . I think the priorities should be to Start Dean Henderson, Buy a Cb , two midfielders ( Cdm and Cm) and a striker.

Eventhough i agree that de gea has not been in his best form in recent seasons,, but with our misfiring strikers, underperforming wingers, aging midfielders, inconsistent and injury prone defenders+full backs,, there are many pressing aspects to prioritise, our whole squad need an urgent overhaul,, so keeping de gea for 1-2 years + signing cheap young promosing keeper is the way to go

I guess a ball playing GK will force our forwards to be ball playing as well? That's a bigger issue. That's also why city won so many titles, they play as a team, not individuals.

The vastly greater weakness in the squad, by orders of magnitude, is the absence of a striker. Martial is diabolical and Weghorst is nowhere close to United quality. Perhaps still early days, but Sancho and Antony have been far short of expectations. The collapse of our attack and the zero goals we’ve scored in recent games is entirely on the front line and not on De Gea, who committed a howler against West Ham but I’d like to meet the keeper who has never committed a howler. De Gea’s time to leave will come, but we have at least five other positions that need upgrading first and unless we literally have an unlimited transfer budget it would be madness to splash the 60-80m it would take to upgrade on De Gea.
Onana, apparently he wants to leave Inter already and Chelsea are after him. We could easily get him because of ten Hag and potential CL football next season.
