Mason Mount has yet to sign a new contract with Chelsea and as his current deal runs out next summer, he is well coveted by many clubs, including a few of Chelsea’s Big Six rivals.

What’s so special about Mason Mount? Why has every Chelsea manager recognised him as a key component to the team? Where might he go next? How would he fit into other teams?

Carl Anka answers all these questions and more.

  1. Loved this. Mason Mount is clearly very tactically adept. Takes instruction well and works hard. I think he's creative too but often he's there for workrate and discipline. I do genuinely think he's doing what he's being asked to do more often than not. That's why coaches love him

  2. To those saying "nothing", or "he's English", maybe give this video another watch and listen carefully to the experts, who know far more than you.

  3. Id love him at United, playing in that Eriksen role taking some of the creative pressure off of Bruno

  4. The way you described mount Carl I’m surprised you didn’t through United into the conversation- he sounds like a ten hag player.

  5. Absolutely nothing. His only argument is 'you could do worse'. 😅 Stop hyping mediocre English players. So many solid players in his position and he gets the spotlight.

  6. When are you planning a sensible transfers. Could you do it about inter. Considering our massive debt and aging core and lots of players leaving it could be a fun video

  7. He’s also heavily linked to Bayern cuz tuchel absolutely loves him. Should’ve mentioned that as well. That’s the only criticism i have for Tifo irl. It’s so PL centred

  8. If Liverpool buy him and mcallister wouldbe great. And maybe buy 1 dmf or get it from academy, i also think liverpool need to buy lb for robertson and rb for trent so they will have a better chance next season. I hope EPL next season will be great. As a netral fans epl is best in attract people because so many great team. However this season many team underperform, please next season be ggreatt 😊

  9. the answer is nothing. he’s a good midfielder when on form but that’s it, his career will be remembered off 1 ucl win, he’ll ride that shot till the sun sets 😂

  10. Wow
Im always subscribed to Tifo Irl but i RARELY watch a vid if im being honest. I tuned in to this specific video becaue I'm a Liverpool fan and everyday i hear the noise of us being linked with him becaue we need another additional home grown talent. Now i never quite rated Mount with him being from Chelsea and him being from the Academy, I feel his love for Chelsea is too strong for me to see him perform well for us if he does come to Liverpool. Apparently I hearing he wants a staggering 300k a week but to me i wouldn't give him anything more than 140k a week.

Last but not least shoutout to Carl for the analysis of Mount. He really has made me have a small change of heart on whether Liverpool should go for this man with him being 1 of the potential 3 midfielders we buy in the summer.

  11. He's a perfect fit for Liverpool and Man United, he ticks all the boxes they need, United need to replace Fred or McTomninay and Liverpool haven't found a suitable replacement since Wijnaldum left.

  12. Would love him at Man U. Ten Hag would do him wonders and he would compliment Bruno so well with Casemiro alongside.

  13. Mount seems to have a clearer role at Arsenal, but would Chelsea have more of an issue moving him to another London club. Could James Maddison be an alternative for Arsenal?

  14. i'd rather chelsea sell pulisic & kovavic . Keep Mount. Why ?
    1. He's academy product
    2. He's 23. Still got 7-8 years left in him
    3. He's great AM , good assist + can create spaces
    4. He's british

  15. Twitter would have you believe Mason Mount is no better than Tom Cleverley. Thank god there's actually good content out there to debunk such nonsense.

  16. Chelsea have lost their personality. They NEED a few CORE players who are Chelsea-Blue through-and-through (lol)! Mount is one of them, but with a player like him you NEED a top striker to do the heavy graft.

Why Chelsea blew hundreds of millions on random players and did not go for Osimhen or Miune (whatever his spelling is) for 120m+ is BEYOND ME……….
