If Potter beats Leeds and qualifies for the next round of the Champions League, will the owners keep him for the rest of the season?
That cat does not like being held…😅. Potter has to save his career at Chelsea by being pragmatic. If not, De Zerbi looks good. Brighton will hate us mind…
When we grow as adults we sometimes are put into situations where we must rise and give our all. Sometimes our all in the beginning isnt enough for the task we were sought to do. But where there is potential and will, there is greatness.
I am appalled by the team’s performance under Potter atm because he has struggled in a way that is different to what he is used to. You can see that he is losing hair over this with the excuses that he has given. Nonetheless, he is going through what many of us go through as leaders when we are learning a new challenge.
Graham Potter has brought little to no change in play quality, he messed up starting line-ups and made horrible substitutions. However, he will grow, he will learn and his potential will be met if we give him the time. We know what he can produce, but an intelligent novice cannot learn how to manage 30+ people on the training ground. Preseason is necessary if we care about Chelsea FC and if we have compassion with a man who is giving his all for this club.
Love the cat bro
Hi guys I'm from south africa huge Chelsea fc fan and it doesn't matter win or lose, but I'm sooooooooO confuse why give Potter 2 games if a new manager can come in and change everything sooo things can work cos we got a huge selection of players and like u said on ur previous video I also 100% believe we got the best team in the world right now
Chelsea has their own MSN (Mudrick Sterling Nkunku)
I do not understand why Enrique isn't our mgr right now. He ticks the boxes.
My Chelsea Rebuild:
Managerial Options: A Hardcore, direct coach is what we need, mixed with some good counter attacking.
1. Hansi Flick – Won the world cup 2014 as an assistant coach with Germany and played some of the best football out of all the teams in the 2022 World Cup. Let's not forget Havertz was his starting striker as well and international/club are completely different in terms of time spent with players. Created a Bayern side that destroyed oppositions, fluid attacking football, aggressive pressure without the ball, good on the ball and had creative interplay, very dynamic, can play possession based football and counter attacking football.
2. Jose Mourinho – Serial winner, best at changing teams psychology and bringing back that we need. Jose has brought through 7 academy players at Roma since he’s come in and all are regular first team players now. A good coach will not always elevate players to their full potential but will always remind them what playing for a top club is worth. Plus he's the only one that broke our number 9 curse by identifying our 2 last great strikers in Drogba and Costa.
3. Thomas Tuchel – Self explanatory, only one who could stand on top with pep and Klopp at the time even Arteta and ETH struggle to beat city whilst Tuchel even though we lost our finals with Liverpool all of them ended in draws. The transition period was harsh with him, and with this set of players he would definitely be doing a better job.
Special Mentions: Luis Enrique wouldn’t do as well in the EPL, the possession based extremely direct 4-3-3 style only works so well with certain players especially meaning we would have to exclude our 10’s like Felix or play them out of position (tbh though Chelsea has their own MSN in Mudrick Sterling Nkunku lol). Zidane can manage these players, his leadership, aura and man management are unquestionable with big egos, but the situations between Madrid and Chelsea are different so it’s more of a risk. Roberto de Zerbi, same risk as potter but beautiful attacking football.
(Wouldn’t mind any of these managers this is just based on personal preferences and the level of risk with current players)
Summer signings/sells:
Signing Options:
– Nicolò Barella (Complete midfielder we've been missing to replace Jorginho's presence in our midfield) or Palhinha (Will allow Enzo to push up and play as an 8)
– Modric/Ilkay Gundogan (Experienced pivot is needed in the midfield look at Casemiro’s impact) or Thiago Alcantara (especially if mount is going the other way)
– Zakharyan or Bellingham (KDB/ Lampard-esk signing)
– Ivan Toney (Prem Proven) or Kolo Muani (Super Attacking Sub 5th most goal/assist contributions in Europe's Top 5)
– Kim Min-jae/Gvardiol (Silva Replacement)
– Kalulu/Ndicka (Ake role RCB/RB)
Integrations: Colwill, Santos, Ian Maatsen, Zakaria (if midfielders above ain’t signed)
We need to rebuild our midfield dynasty and we need of players that bring either balance (no.8’s playing on the half turn carry the ball and make late runs into the box), control and chaos.
Sells/ Loans:
1. Loan: Havertz, Chalobah, CHO, Fofana, Pulisic, Ampadu, Slonina, Lewis Hall, Omari Hutchinson, Humphrey, Carney Chukwuemeka
2. Sell: Ziyech, Loftus Cheek, Bakayoko, Aubameyang, Azpilicueta, Gallagher (Buyback clause), Lukaku
Youth Development:
1. Buy a feeder club: For our youth talent to develop, preferably a team with European football (e.g. RB Leipzig and Salzburg model)
2. Loan structure/buy-back clauses: Send players to solid development clubs such as Brighton, dortmund, Leipzig, Leverkusen.
Formations:
3-4-3 (3-4-2-1): Overloads, attacking full backs able to take shots across goal and deliver crosses and direct wide centre backs (Tuchel’s Prime Chelsea)
4-1-2-3 (2-3-5): Inverted fullbacks, 1 pivot with two 8’s attacking the half spaces with very wide wingers (City)
4-2-3-1 (4-4-2): Direct Ge-gan pressing football (Hansi Flick’s Bayern)
Thoughts?
Sterli g sig ing is a travesty! Hehas contributed …Fuck All!
I don't think Enrique is the answer. Then again what is the answer at the moment? We need to score goals that's certain but who is the person to provide the direction for the players? We've got the troops to deploy whatever system but we don't have the time to chop and change anymore then we have.
I don’t know man. 80% possession with little creativity doesn’t sound appealing to me. Ppl r forgetting how god awful Spain was under him. I’m not sure man
Hansi Flick to Chelsea would create a formidable attacking team with scary potential. He would make Chelsea into Bayern Munchen 6.0, with the talent available. No to Enrique, Mourinho and other negative tactics using managers. Get Hansi Flick, he is the answer to everything.
They have to bring in Hans Flick
Chelsea owner doesn't know football that's why still now he doesn't sack the coach still now he buy Chelsea because of he wants to be the owner of Chelsea but he doesn't deserve to be the owner of Chelsea if he knows football he will never sign this coach for 5 years contract potter doesn't even deserve to coach big teams
Sterling might be on 300K now but if we dont get Champions League football next season then apparently his wages will drop and this is probably the same for Reece James and others on the new Summer 2022 contracts.
somebody is happy with his new flat, haha
Sterling… meh, uinspiring as of now, but another manager could reignite him
I honestly think Diego Simeone is the best candidate for the job. Say what you want about him or his playing style but he is a proven world class title winning manager with great longevity. I think he has everything we need for a recipe for Chelsea success.
Everyone is so focused on the manager. But it’s the players that must put the ball in the net. 👍
Potter dreams of Luis Enrique's CV. Potter will never win half as much as Enrique. Whether he wins the next 2 games or 3…his colors have been thoroughly exposed…and they're not of the Chelsea Blue variety
Is that trust the process in Latin on his neck? 😂
Sterling SHOULD be sold in the summer.
I love the new set up bro💙
Honestly want Potter sacked, but theres no good enough options around right now. Imo may as well keep Potter until theres a good option
I like your plant in the background Yan
Look Yan if we win the next two then Potter stays, if we lose the next two without any sign of improvement it’s going to get really ugly really quickly. If the entire stadium get behind a potter out campaign the players may start to start distance themselves from the manager. Fans and players lose faith, Boehly with all the best will in the world may have to take note. He wants to see a toxic atmosphere, turn up to an English football game with the crowd angry!!!!
Seemingly he should be able to manage this project.
I'm a big fan of Henrique and Hansi flick, any of them will be a signing and their record speak for them and any of them will be good for long term. Whether potter win or not the two match given to him deos not make any sense, he is a midtable maneger.
Don’t understand the excitement behind Enrique. What he did at Barca with those players Roman would have fired him if he did less.
Honestly I don’t think he’s good enough as his performance with Spain shows. The only manager I see being right for Chelsea is Flick but we would need to stick with Potter for another 18 months.
Please everyone leave a like if you want Potter sacked Now or a Dislike if you want to sack him after we relegated.
Please I'd love to see how many people are just fed up like myself and at this point I'd rather have the assistant manager take charge cause something has to change SOMETHING 😅
We jus betta get Potter sacked, b4 we get in 2 a relegation battle!! We arn't safe 4rom relegation, we need 40 points 2 b safe & if this form were on continues, then we betta get ready 4 a relegation fight.. Trus..
We need an elite coach
please always have mia in your videos! your cat is amazing!
Love your vids man
Enrique is an improvement on Potter but im not certain he is the right person but I do think any change would improve us. I'd love hansi flick mainly cause he likes fast attacking football with lots of goals in a possession dominant team and he doesn't look completely content in the Germany job.
I would really love to have him at Chelsea
Is Mia’s favorite player Mason Meownt, Kat Haverts, Winston Fluffana, Raheem Purrling, or Christian Pawlisic?
I'm in the minority here but I really rather Pochettino, the whole "he's never won anything" is stupid to me he was at Spurs what do you expect. Getting Spurs to CL final is more impressive than winning a title with PSG in my opinion. Pochettino knows the league, would have something to prove with a young squad, and would have the finicial backing Levy refuse to give him to take them to the next level.
I used to be up for the match day thinking Chelsea are playing yeah. Now NOT LIKING FOOTBALL at all maybe today? enough said
What defines a project manager?
