  1. I think Richarlison will get much better next season. Plenty of footballers have lacklustre first seasons at any club. I'd much rather a player starts slow and build momentum rather than the other way around.
The next manager is vital, he has to have the ability to give the squad confidence, enthusiasm and pride playing for Tottenham. If they get that, every player will go up levels.
It's going to be an interesting summer.

  2. Re: Tammy Abraham, given more game time I think Richarlison will prove to be better, and Ā£45 is way overpriced – Ā£25 at best.

  3. Re: Marc GuƩhi, a promising talent, but I agree with you that we need to concentrate on getting a 1st class, experienced, left-footed centre-back first

  4. It would be an error of catastrophic proportions if we assume Richarlison can take over the Harry Kane mantle provided he is given the correct support. Ideally I would try to sell him in the Summer (maybe a player swap and some cash for Abraham ??). I never wanted him here and when I was told the fee we paid I was staggered. Just read "Teenagers on a college sports course joined a development day at Tottenham Hotspur and are set to trial walking football." Don't know what they mean by 'trial' our first team has been doingĀ itĀ allĀ seasonĀ !

  5. News today that Levy and Munn met with Nagelsmann in recent days. Johannes Spors is being mentioned as DOF. He worked at Leipzig and Hoffenheim as a chief scout. Currently global sporting director for multiple clubs, including Melbourne. Could be a serious option. Pair him with Nagelsmann, makes a lot of sense.

  6. Sean ahh Bugsy been naughty again in lockdown again twice this week .Hope Kane stays this will be Levys fault again not getting quality around him. Carricks name is on Managers list again. Sean i would vote you in as Chairman of Spurs or a scout. at least you no about players more that Levy does. Thanks for info . Hope Bugsy now out of lockdown . Have a lovely afternoon Sean and Bugsy.

  7. Agree with your backline totally. Davies Lenglet Romero/ Perisic Skipp Hojbjerg Porro /Kane as a CAM/ Son and Danjuma up from

  8. I'd like to see Kane stay. Pre-season under a new manager and who knows. It's a risk worth taking with such a great player.
In my view if Harry went you would have to get in at least 2 players to replace him, and hope like hell that the replacements would work. In other words Harry is irreplaceable.

Also what you said about Noah Okafor makes a lot of sense. A few players like him wouldn't break the bank and if the manager whoever they are can get us mobile and playing like a team, then that can only be a good thing going forward,

  9. Hi Sean very interesting as always don't agree with you on Abraham never taken any notice on Guehi and that other guy never heard of him apart from that we are on the same page take care

  10. 'Due Diligence' is a formal process in investment decision-making, whereby you draw up a defined set of criteria against which you start to/continue to evaluate a potential investment. When I did it for start up university spin-outs, we had six criteria, some of which were technical, some of which were market/competition based and some of which were human. The initial aim was to eliminate non-investment-starters within one day. After that, we would do deeper work in key areas, often more associated with drawing up specific valuations, market opportunities, management structure required etc. If that stood the test of investigation, then folks like me would be drawing up a detailed business plan, including financial spreadsheets, tailored to raising whatever level of investment was considered suitable at whatever valuation was considered achievable.

So basically, Levy/Munn will have drawn up/had drawn up for them a discrete set of criteria from which rapid elimination of potentially unsuitable candidates can be made. The aim of those criteria is elimination of unsuitable candidates, not yet selecting the right candidate. That means you then focus more time on those who have a chance of actually being offered the job. You shouldn't be progressing anyone through initial due diligence, who you seriously think isn't in reality credible.

So it sounds to me as though their process to date has sought to identify five to seven credible candidates, with which they will now interact to lead to a decision.

  11. BREAKING NEWS 17:45pm

Sky Sports Germany have let it be known that talks between THFC and Julian Nagelsmann have been taking place over the last few days, and JN is interested in taking the job on. All I can say to that is BRING IT ON!!! This could be the start of putting together an excellent team of Scott Munn, Johann Spor, and JN. Spor has also been heavily linked, but you never know if there's any truth in these rumours. JN and Spor have worked together before. Phase one could be in the process of being formulated. Cheers Sean!

  12. Abraham NoNoNo!!!!!….Let Man.utd have him!!
We don't want useless Chelsea rejects!
That's why Chelsea got rid of him!
    Where are your
    brains!!!
    I would go for Vlahavic

  13. SEAN ABRAHAM DEFINITELY NOT!!
WHY DO YOU THINK CHELSEA GOT RID OF HIM??
HE IS RUBBISH AND NOT WORTH 45 PENCE
    LET ALONE £45MILLION!
WE NEED A PROVEN GOALSCORER LIKE VLAHAVICH WHO WE WERE LINKED WITH BEFORE A MONSTER FORWARD AND IF KANE GOES THAT'S THE SORT OF QUALITY WE NEED
    CERTAINLY NOT ABRAHAM. !!!

  14. I liked Bryan Gill and a manager who knew what he was doing we would have kept him at Spurs and it's the same with poor old Troy Parrott who never got the chance to prove anything

  15. Classy insight sean about we we need to come into the fold , I feel that a cb is a must as we need to calm romero
Would take tammy as he could potentially be an asset

  16. If Kane wants to go let him make move to Real Madrid chances of winning trophy is very high and we making 70-100mn is also high
Buy 2 good CB and one attacking midfielder one goal keeper we will be good Richarlson should be okay to score 15-20 goals, Son will be back to form and Kulu coming back to form we should be ok

  17. Tammy Abraham is very workmanlike. That’s the best I can say for him. In terms of an alternative to Guehi I’d like tomori instead. Now he’d be a brilliant signing in my opinion.

  18. Well spoken mate. The only Due Diligence required ,is Levy focusing on Financial matters. Leave the Football side to People who are experts in that field. šŸ˜‚

That Okafor suggestion indeed makes sense.

I was so happy to see Royal ,finally being used properly and playing to his strengths. He's excellent in defense , so use him there.
